Projects involved replacement of all exterior windows and window guards; reinstallation of all A/C units and replacement of A/C brackets; remove and replace fixtures in students’ toilets; remove and replace wall & floor tiles, scrape & paint wall and ceiling in students’ toilets; remove & replace safety systems (exterior security & Intrusion alarm system); remove bricks at selective window lintels, scrape and paint window lintel with rust inhibitive paint

Hudson River Park Trust Pier 76 NYPD Mounted Unit under the Division of Design and Construction Project and Onsite Construction Management In charge of daily on-site construction oversight for a mayoral mandated high profile

$6.2M project under contract to Skanska USA. The goal of the project was to relocate the NYPD Mounted Unit (equestrian) currently housed in another pier in order to commence construction. The approximately 25K SF project included renovation of the south wing of the pier on Hudson River providing space for New York Police Parking Enforcement District (PED) Troop B and the Mounted Unit headquarters which included offices, locker rooms, toilets, storage, horse stalls, hay loft and exercise ring. All components, except the exercise ring, are within the existing pier building envelope; the ring is a tensile structure in the yard adjacent and attached to the building. The associated space for PED included replacing storage, office and locker space which was displaced by the stables. The mounted unit project also included improvements to a parking area to accommodate 40 cars.

METROTECH CONTRACTING CORPORATION, Jamaica, NY 2003 - 2006 Project Manager

Responsibilities included reviewing construction documents, soliciting bids for all trades, drafting subcontracts, conducting meetings, recording and distributing meeting minutes, procuring materials, coordinating all aspects of subcontractors work for parks and landscape projects. Created and implemented site safety plans and provided site supervision.

Pier 84 Hudson River Park Trust

Tasked with setting up field office, setting up job logs, creating submittals, creating shop drawings, RFI’s and Logistical plans. Created safety plan in cooperation with insurance carrier. Conducted internal coordination meetings with subcontractors and reported job needs to upper management. Procured material and scheduled deliveries accordingly. Provided labor and safety supervision. Assisted general superintendent on a full-time basis throughout the duration of the project.

George Washington High School Synthetic Athletic Fields Responsibilities included site supervision on a $1M budgeted project for a 90K SF installation of a new athletic field for public school project. Old Boys High School Synthetic Turf Field
