I started linework in 1980 building new catv system for appollo beach cable,Ruskin,fka.as a grunt on conventional crew climbing all day w/brace & bit running strand out if 1 ton flat bed w/ ladder&layup stick for Bently & Schultz cable const.,moved back to PA.after that and worked for John moon cable const in Delaware & Bucks counties, Pa.and ran strand /learned coax,bounced around between construction trades and car& trk parts sales /mechanic when no linework with in reasonable daily travel in tri-state area,built original catv systems in Phila.,Pa.1985-88, was a partner in. Cable const .business 1988-1991 and ended up back in s.e. FLA.rebuilding w.palm bch catv/Comcast.,adelphia,Cox,etc from Jupiter,pompano,ft.lauderdale .did 1.5 yrs communications storm restoration after hurricane Andrew 1992-93,moved back to PA.in 1994 and rebuilt York PA.catv,rebuild in Montgomery county,Pa.first started doing fiber when very first came out in phila 1986 a little but back to mostly coax till 1995 and basically have traveled pretty extensively since then doing mostly all fiber aeriel,u.g.,isp.have some fiber splicing experience but isn't really my favorite thing to do .I have pulled underground triduct,set handholes extensively .pulled everything from 8f to 864f aeriel &u.g pulled several miles 3600pr copper u.g.in phila.pa.vicinity,a little aeriel copper in easements in Delaware .was never allowed / givin a chance to learn catv splicing or testing/balancing but was always asking to !?,very little directioal boring .I am 58 yrs old but can /will climb / work bucket all day .I am healthy,smoke nothing,0 alcohol since 2010,0 street drugs .I like to be at least 15 min early for start time .lots of jokes and unbelievable but true funny /horrible stories, mostly of cable const..I am pretty sure I'm done with cable const.for real thus time,but though I have many skills and experience and or familiarity with many trades/ occupations, I am not a master or journeyman at ANYTHING EVEN TELECOM CABLE CONST AFTER 40+ YRS CUZ THAT CHANGES EVERYDAY NOW TOO! BUT,I love to work,I love to do the best that I possibly can and then a little more at EVERY TASK I UNDERTAKE OR AM ASSIGNED.I love to learn at LEAST ONE NEW THING EVERDAY.I LOVE TO WORK AS PART OF A TEAM AND STRIVE TO PROVE TO MYSELF AND THE OTHER TEAM MEMBERS THAT I WILL BE THERE DOING MY PART 110% FOR US ALL TO GET THE JOB DONE RIGHT,ON TIME,AND WE ALL GO HOME SAFELY ! As a WORKING Telecom line const.foreman, my duties have usually included : obtain work/prints from G.m..or super. For day,week,month,coordinate with crew members on location,treks,trailers,cable/ strand,adware stock on trk,any special tools/ materials,signs& cones,personal tops &ppe,hopefully Rideout work BEFOREHAND to establish set ups & potential problems,check with property owners before entering if need be,set up signs correctly while driver/lineman /ground hand load bucket & lashers/ prepare reels,work the bucket all day & climb when needed or if have lineman switch back and forth to keep skills sharp,meet with traffic control co.if needed,meet with contact person on property or in bldg.to go over job/ obtain entry badges,rules,provide pictures before and after pole transfers &/or landscaping / property restorations, keep track of receipts/expense reports,daily production reports,safety sheets,as builts & sequence numbers,accident /injury reports .go over production,problems,highlights with G.m.& or super.keep track of trucks,trailers, equipment,maintenance.& Repair w/g.m.,super.or mechanic.strive to have a good tight crew that sticks together thru thick&thin and resolves intra crew disagreements quickly and has as enjoyable time as possible while achieving maximum production that's done right the first time !

I have above & beyond normal in personal tools for linework & every trade .I have almost everything in tools to stock 1 trk .except lashers,rollers,layupstick, and would be happy to negotiate using if need be. I am healthy,have a strong back and strong work ethic .I have lots of jokes and unbeleavable but true funny/ not funny stories,mostly of cable construction .I like to be at least 15 min. Early of show up time,will usually always work overtime when needed,not much for O.T. ( OWN TIME ),but usually can eat a little here & there .
