Employment History

I served for more than 22 years in the US Embassy in Cairo and SEAVIN American Company “Northrup Grumman” as a Supply Supervisor, Production and Material Control Specialist and Admin Assistant in the GSO and the floor warden and the first responder and liaison between the Embassy and the security office RSO “Regional Security Office”

1.From June 1st 2022- Now: As a Security officer at LASI Security Co. Job duties and responsibilities:

Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence

Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people in the property

Remove wrongdoers or trespassers from the area

Secure all exits, doors and windows after end of operations

Check surveillance cameras periodically to identify disruptions or unlawful acts

Investigate people for suspicious activity or possessions

Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation

Provide assistance to people in need

Apprehend and detain perpetrators according to legal protocol before arrival of authorities

Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences

2.From 5th June 2011 –13th Jan 2022: As a Warehouse supervisor in the MP workshop in the American Embassy in Cairo "ESSA Compound". Job duties and responsibilities:

Responsible for all general warehouse duties including Ordering, Receiving and issuing items.

Assists in preparing list for items to be disposed as they are overstocked or for older models.

Assists with the inventory and preparing necessary paperwork and logistics for the inventory guys.

Coordinate with MP workshop maintenance about parts or stock needed for mission vehicles fleet.

Follow up with agencies, procurement and shipping to know the status of the orders.

Follow with the Motor Pool about some due vehicles for maintenance.

Follow up with FMC to provide monthly ICASS bill to charge agencies.

Follow up with Maintenance about requests created to repair or maintain appliances or building.

Follow up with SPM about requests of moving, transfer and pick up property from and to office or warehouse.

Follow up with security when moving items from warehouse to be witnessed and keeping keys at the gate.

3.From 28th May 2007 –4th June 2011: As a sales-retail supervisor in AAFES in the American Embassy in Cairo "ESSA Compound". Job duties and responsibilities:

Responsible for all incoming shipments. Verify availability of on-hand stock and order merchandise when needed by monitoring automated system "ASAP" and stockroom for any imbalance.

Identify excess and phase-out merchandise "goods, spare parts…"

Conduct test period evaluation of new items and recommend adjusting stock assortment.

Monitor sales promotion to meet customer service satisfaction.

Advise and recommend sales manager of problem areas in regards to warehouse or inventories.

Research problem areas and develops solutions and recommendations.

Adjust order levels and order merchandise against open-order.

Maintain computerized inventories, recommend and participate in conducting inventories.

Contact distributors and suppliers personnel to resolve any related problems.

Liaison between AAFES “OMC” and other agencies in the Embassy

4.From 8th Jan 2007-27th May 2007: As a receptionist and an Admin Clerk in the Health Unit in the American Embassy in Cairo. Job duties and responsibilities:

Receiving telephoned, written, and e-mailed requests and deliver high quality information and proactive support services to internal and external customers and clients. Contacts Mission staff as soon as possible when necessary to verify information to meet all needs.

Doing filing according to alphabetical order or other order, document control and all secretarial works.

Provides other miscellaneous duties. Replaces my colleagues and doing their jobs during their long leave.

Compile products data and generates management reports "can do the same for pharmacy.

Follow up visitor's demands.

Perform general office procedures and reports and translating of documents and notices with a good English grammar and spelling as I have got a degree in English literature. I perform other duties as assigned.

5.From 16th Nov 2004 – 8th Jan 2007: As a Vehicle Dispatcher in the MP in the US Embassy in Cairo.

Receives telephoned, written, and e-mailed requests for vehicles. Assigns and dispatches chauffeurs to meet these requests. Contacts Mission staff when necessary to verify information on official or personal request forms. Determines the number of vehicles and chauffeurs needed for the different work shifts to maintain an efficient operation. Directs the development and revision of work shifts, shuttle schedules, and field trips.

Instructs chauffeurs and truck drivers on their duties and functions. Inspects chauffeurs’ appearance and the condition of vehicles before and after trips, and checks radios to ensure they are operational. Drafts chauffeurs’ evaluation reports.

Records received vehicles’ requests in the master logbook, and ensure that they are properly completed. Ensures that all vehicles usage reports are completed with appropriate and correct information such as: mileage, passenger’s signature, chauffeur’s name and date of trip.

Provides other miscellaneous duties including, but not limited to, coordinating with the workshop and sends Motor Pool vehicles for routine maintenance, and reporting vehicles’ malfunction to the MP Supervisor. Receives gas from the gas company, checks the quantity delivered, signs the bill and reads the dipstick. Controls the gas pump and prepares out the gas consumption sheet with details. Replaces the incumbents of the MP Supervisor or Dispatcher positions during their leave.

Works as shipping Assistant in sending drivers and following drivers when receiving or renewing POVs and GOVs or when receiving shipments or sending shipments.

6.From Nov. 1999- Oct. 2004: As an Material control Specialist/ Production Control Specialist, Admin Assistant SEAVIN American Company.

Opening Work Orders for vehicles through the Maximo System.

Opening W.O. for parts that bought by petty cash on invoices on Maximo.

Performing the monthly report for vehicles for the site and monitoring assigning vehicles to customers.

Searching the CD ROMS and the Microfiche to get the part numbers.

Monitoring the spare parts stock level in the Warehouse as requirement for vehicles and housing.

Making PRs for the low stock parts from local market in Egypt (small request) and American market.

Monitoring the Bench Stock in the tool room.

Monitoring the movement of vehicles from site to site and monitoring the deadline vehicles for parts.

Monitoring the library's shop receiving books, CD room and delivering books and CD room.

Monitoring the tools and equipment which were used for repair vehicles or public used for work shop.

Point of contact between all other sections and the maintenance shop.
