With experience in union and non-union shops, I am not afraid to literally get my hands dirty. My leadership style is one of setting examples with “sleeves rolled up” and empowerment, not micro-managing.
At WERMA-USA, the US distribution and light assembly point for WERMA-Germany, I was challenged to direct our North American efforts with the goal of creating a US-based subsidiary. With an entrepreneurial spirit, in six years we quadrupled sales, tripled our team size and doubled our facility size. With full P&L and day-to-day responsibility that crossed multiple disciplines (e.g., Controlling, HR, IT, Operations, Engineering, Marketing, etc.), I am most proud to have assembled this team and created their work environment to get these team results.
