My name is Derrick Sharkey, and I worked for SABIC International from August 2019 to September 2023, and I would like to apply to be a C Surface Water Treatment Plant Operator. At SABIC we worked 365 days a year. I bring with me over four years of working experience, along with the knowledge of running Reactors and Lab equipment for SABIC. My job also brings knowledge of loading bulk loads of PPO and supersack Oligomers. It also gave me the knowledge and experience of running the Gas Chromatography (GC), Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy (AA), Microwave Rotational Spectroscopy (Microwave), MiniPv and the working knowledge of Plasma. I was a Senior Business Development Manager, working with supporting global R&D Oilfield clients on developing new product lines with continuous composite fiber. Developed oilfield engineered custom-designed thermoplastic composite parts to resist fatigue. Worked with supporting global R&D Oilfield clients to solve corrosion issues with H2S and CO2. Assist in developing new downhole tools and parts for global oilfield service companies.

Baker Hughes International – Houston, Texas – April 2001 – February 2016

I was a Directional Driller for Baker Hughes. With Supervision of Conventional, Directional, Horizontal and Geothermal Wells. Were we worked 24 hours a day, 7 days a week till the job was completed. I manage crews of 5 to 25 people. With over a decade & half of working experience on Mudmotors and RRS tools. Coordinated field personnel & third-party personnel hands to accomplish the objectives of clients. I have worked in the Gulf of Mexico, United States Land, Canada, Belize, Cuba, Kazakhstan, Nicaragua, North Africa, Saudi Arabia, Asia, and the United Arab Emirates.

I received my Education from NAIT (Northern Alberta Institution of Technology) in Edmonton Alberta, Canada.

I have a USA Passport and Canadian Passport, along with TSA Card. And I am willing to register again with TWIC.
