Sales Associate/Assistant Manager/Store Manager

Began as the sales associate and after 90 days was trained and tested for assistant manager as per the agreement with my supervisor who was set to retire. I ran the store from September 2017 until February 2018 as the assistant manager when my supervisor retired and was promoted to Store Manager shortly after. As the assistant and store manager I was required to run a register and assist customers with their sales, perform and reconcile all cash transactions, assist with RGIS Audits, daily deposits, vendor check in, McLane orders/reclamation, store resets, monthly meetings, hiring/training, lottery sales/daily audits, weekly invoice reconciliation, fuel management, price changes, monthly sales updates

August 2021-January 2023

Circle K

Began as an assistant manager and later moved to the company's MIT Program. Job duties included operating and learning all register programs, Commander and Radiant. Truck stop Fleet Services and payment programs through fuel services required extensive knowledge and troubleshooting should the lines go out. Assist in Lottery Sales via the Texas Lottery terminal, lotto vending machines and instant scratch tickets. Western Union and MoneyGram Money orders sales knowledge required. Unfortunately the company had constant issues with both programs so I had to be quick to help customers find their next convenient location. I assisted in audits, resets and handled all DC grocery orders to fill the shelves and the receiving and verification of vendors. My managers back office duties were exactly the same as what I did with Stripes/7-11 as far as payroll, scheduling and staffing. PDI was used for all paperwork and a Falcon handheld for printing labels and completing/assisting with audits.

February 2023-June 2023

Murphy USA

Assistant Manager

Unfortunately I did leave Murphy's for both personal and medical reasons but at that time I was being considered to move up to a store manager and possibly take over one of 2 stores who were in need of new management. My knowledge in register, management duties and and programs came in very handy as they used everything I'd already been trained in. The biggest difference was that we were not a 24 hour store and had duties for both opening and closing. The biggest of which was ensuring all merchandise was secured and safely out away before we locked the doors and put down the barriers.

I did leave as a result of my health and worked with my physician to get everything under control. I am now ready to get back into the workforce and continue to provide excellent customer service to my surrounding communities. I look forward to hearing from you in regards to my application. Thank you for your time and consideration.
