Responsibilities included but not limited to: Overall physical plant security; Alarm Station Operator, monitor site perimeter as well as ingress and egress points via CCTV systems. Access Control, to include vehicle and personnel ingress and egress; Maintain and schedule shift staffing as required IAW regulatory requirements. Conduct training and monitor qualifications of security personnel; Conduct pre-shift briefings and provide current security conditions to on-coming shift, site operations and senior management. Maintain and conduct testing of intrusion, CCTV and fire detection systems on a monthly and quarterly basis. Maintain qualifications as a member of site fire brigade. Conduct investigations in the event of all onsite safety incidents. Act in the capacity of Armed Responder Response Team Leader (RTL), supervision of on-site response team in the event of an elevated threat level, site contingency or Active shooter event; Liaison between site security, plant operations manager and local law enforcement agencies. Act in the capacity of instructor and range safety officer during weapons qualifications.

Provide oversight of all procedures and official documents and records that govern safe operation of a nuclear facility. Ensure timely publication and distribution of required procedures and documents, to include adherence to procedures by all respective operating departments.
Maintain records vault and tech library to ensure proper retention of archive records, to include roll film, microfiche, printed nomenclature and engineering drawings. Conduct routine audits of records vault and electronic information systems for accuracy and update systems as needed or required. Act as EB director for the site and fleet electronic database system; maintain and monitor security access levels for designated personnel for secure, proprietary and safeguarded information. Interface with USNRC inspectors to ensure compliance with U.S. Code of Federal Regulations.
Oversee and assign direction to 24 direct reports; Maintain staffing, Time and Labor (payroll).
Contract Manager for vendor support to the facility, which include but is not limited to, Xerox Corporation, Iron Mountain, Pitney Bowes and Grainger. Interface with site warehouses for materials distribution for site support.
