Thank you for taking the time to look at my resume and get to know me a little. I am hoping that this letter will bring attention to my many years of experience as a skilled, detailed and fine tuned Professional. I have been in the Medical Field for over twenty years and would really like to venture out into a new field. I do have clerical experience including accounts payable for two years when I worked for Jim Babbitt Ford in Flagstaff, AZ.
I am married my two boys are grown and out on their own. I am a dedicated hard worker. I learn quickly, I am not afraid to ask questions. I am open to change and feel that I am fast to adapt when needed.
Below is my experience in the medical field. I entered the medical field in 2006 as a receptionist / appointment scheduler at Northern Arizona Othopaedics where. I quickly made my way into surgery scheduling for two very busy Physiatrist Dr John Ledington and Dr Kyle Norris up in Flagstaff, AZ at Northern Arizona Orthopaedics. I soon learned that I loved what I was doing. I took the initiative to learn all the other areas in Orthopaedic Surgery Scheduling. The majority of my first couple of years was in Physiatry along with Hand and Foot. In a few short years I learned every scheduling position and was promoted to the Lead Surgery Scheduling Position where I trained all the new schedulers and worked along with Flagstaff Medical Center to go with a paperless scheduling system between the practices. I eventually had no higher to climb at NAO and decided to move on to work with Flagstaff Medical Center as the office coordinator for the Hospitalist Department and the Specialty Clinic. I do have Administrative Assistant skills both in Food and Beverage and with Flagstaff Medical Center. During my time with the Hospitalist I did the entire schedule for 25 Hospitalist, managed all of the extra shifts and CME payouts, setting up meetings taking minutes at meetings. When given the opportunity I have the drive to be the best of the best. During my time in Flagstaff I raised two wonderful young men as a single mother and working full time. My goal in life is and was to be the best mother I could be to my boys. The people that I worked with became family to not just me but to my boys. NAO before the Core merger was a family run business the Providers were board members with that they really took care of their staff and in turn we took care of their patients like they were our family. I have long lasting relationships with staff and patients. In 2020 my husband and I decided to move out of Flagstaff to the Prescott area, I have found my new home here at YRMC Dignity Health. My heart and soul goes into my work. When I get the opportunity to learn something new or make processes better, I dig my heals in and work harder than ever.
I believe with my years of experience and dedication to any job I have had will be a great addition to the Unisource Team.
My Sincerest Thanks
Karen Neal
