PROJECTS
Monitoring Drowsiness Condition of a Driver using Brain Wave Sensor
Designed a hardware prototype where Bluetooth hardware relates to Arduino board and one small motor driver is attached to it.
Arduino senses the environment by receiving inputs from many sensors, and affects its surroundings by controlling light, motors, and other actuators
A mind wave sensor is used which is the Brain Computer Interface (BCI) device look like the headset which turns the brain waves into actions, unlocking new worlds of interactivity.
The LED (light emitting diode) is used in the board to indicate the condition of the driver, if it is ON then the quality is poor and if it is OFF, the status is good.
Bio-Signals based on road stress Monitoring for Automotive Drivers (HMI)
Developed and designed a hardware module using Pulse oximeter MAX30100 and Galvanic Skin response GSRV1.2 which was interfaced to Arduino Microcontroller.
Pulse Oximeter was used to determine the percentage of Oxygen in the blood flow and GSR was used to get the Skin responses of a person for detecting the emotional or mental stress
GSRV1.2 board was used to acquire data using two finger wearable bands and a finger was placed on the pulse oximeter MAX30100 to detect the oxygen levels in blood.
All the hardware was interfaced with Arduino and data was shown on the serial Monitor.
This prototype was built and software was developed using Arduino.
Prototype Conveyor Belt System Implementation
To implement and control a prototype conveyor belt system using a DC Motor interfaced with ARM Cortex M4 based STM32F407VG Microcontroller
Speed of the conveyor belt is controlled by PWM signal generated by microcontroller.
Controlled the movement of belt in forward or backward direction using H-Bridge.
Computed distance of the object on the conveyor belt using ultrasonic ping sensor and displayed live output values on to the LCD.
CAN interface is used to transmit sensor data between microcontrollers and SPI protocol to display live parameters on 128x64 LCD display.
All the firmware and software were developed using C and IAR Embedded workbench IDE.
OTHER ACTIVITIES
Member of the National Cadet Corps in India a voluntary organization which recruits cadets from high schools, colleges and universities all over India.
Volunteer for Indian Red Cross Society which provides relief in times of disasters/emergencies and promoting health & care of under-privileged people and communities.
