The System is currently in use in North America supporting GM’s global suppliers. The target audience using CYPRSS is the Precious Metals Group, the Scrap Metals Team and the Foundry Team. CYPRSS is geared towards improving GM’s ability to manage large volumes of commodity purchases in raw bulk steel (direct and resale), and raw bulk non-ferrous metals.

It serves as an interface between the engineering legacy systems and the scheduling/dispatch systems. Anytime an FTTP Work Orders is released to construction from the engineering legacy systems, the work order will move to vBuild. User interface in vBuild allows users to view work order details and graphics. User interface in vBuild allows users to attach a document and download the associated work prints graphics from ICGS and also allows users to report their time and material details used.
