Night lead mechanic at Pt. South shop for Staker Parson. My responsibilities are to make sure my shop works safely and efficiently. I keep track of our parts inventory, which includes maintaining proper procedure of stock depletion, and parts requisitions. My other responsibilities include maintaining proper maintenance via VCR's and 15 point inspection on each piece of equipment that comes into my shop, and provide proper instruction to my guys when questions are asked, and if I don't have the right answer, I also need to know the proper channels to find the right answers.

08/2013 - Present Diesel Mechanic/ Night Lead Staker Parson I was hired on with Harper Ready Mix as a lube technician with little experience. I worked very hard to work my way up, and within 6 months I was promoted to day shift mechanic. About this time I realized I had a knack for this trade. Still working hard, and gathering as much knowledge as I could. I was promoted to night shift lead mechanic within my first year. In 2010 Harper, Kilgore, and Altaview were all bought out, and Harper Ready Mix turned into Altaview Concrete. At this time I was just a night shift Mechanic in the West Jordan shop. EDUCATION HISTORY

I have been through many certificate of completion courses to build my knowledge of the equipment I work on each day. Including Detroit engines DD13, DD15, DD16 EPA07-GHG17, air system/air brake through both Page Brake and Best Deal Springs. I have also attended Bendix air and ABS course. I am state safety inspection certified in heavy duty tractor/trailer/bus as well. But, most of my education came from the hands on work experience I have had on heavy duty equipment since 2007. I will continue to grow my knowledge as new opportunities present themselves.

I have attended the Oshkosh front discharge mixer training program multiple times. It covers the complete truck, front to back. Like air, and brake systems. Electrical troubleshooting, hydraulic troubleshooting, as well as J1939/J1708 data link diagnostics, and going over each component on the truck, and how they operate.
