Gained great deal of experience working with Aluminum class A body panels for customers such as Freightliner and Volvo White, producing outer roof and sleeper cab extensions thru deep draw process

Steel stampings for companies such as Mercedes, GM, Chrysler and Ford all involved outer skins such as door panels, fenders, rockers, roofs, hoods and the interior components for mating in the assembly process

Highly experienced Tig welder with good ability in GMAW and Mig on tool steels such as S7, D2, A2, 01 GM240 and the like while using the correct filler material

Experience with common shop equipment such as ID/OD grinders, Surface grinders, Lathe and milling machines with manual operation

Responsible for engineering changes as part of my regular work details

Performed circle grid analysis, dimensional checks with Quality Lab and manufacture of jigs and or fixtures when needed

Became team leader for production

Tested for the apprenticeship program and was accepted in 1996 and in August of 2000 I graduated to Journeymen Status
