Coordinate between Quality & Food Safety, Production, R&D and Procurement to ensure effective product safety and sanitation policies and procedures are designed, implemented, and maintained.
Assists in the management of quality control activities for all phases of production and personnel. Maintains close rapport with production to identify, solve and prevent problems affecting food quality.
Monitoring, documenting and reporting on finished product specifications to measure compliance with company standards. Perform quality checks of raw, work in process, and finished product through inspections. Performing analysis of finished product as required. Analysis includes visual, weight, size, color, packaging etc.
Coordinates with production in the monitoring of packaging lines for effective control of weights, metal detection, codes and product/package integrity.

Support new and improved product and process risk assessments. Ensure that all products are evaluated for Food Safety risks including allergens, contamination, etc. Inspect all incoming raw materials.
Support the manufacturing plants, co-pack and/or suppliers by providing technical support, trouble shooting, allergen plan assessment, HACCP plan reviews and environmental testing reviews.
Develop and coordinate action plans to reduce or eliminate the Food Safety failures during manufacturing by employing the latest techniques and equipment available.
Develop and monitor key performance measures as it relates to product safety. Ensure that policies are maintained by implementing plant procedures and systems to ensure that products produced meet all expectations.
Assists in implementing and maintaining SQF and HACCP programs.
