Regional I.T. Manager at the New York Branch office. Report directly to owner, work closely to build business in NYC. Supported clients with Server, Desktop and Help Desk related issues. Installed and supported a VMware server farm at a client’s law firm. Did onsite PC hardware, software installation and configuration. Daily responsibilities at client locations include desktop support for various Law firm related apps. Technical level 2-3 support for all NY staff. 1984-1996 Network Systems Specialist - New York, NY

Responsibilities included installing, upgrading, configuring and supporting new and over 100 existing Microsoft Windows NT LANs nationwide, ranging in size from 25 to over 600 nodes, running over Ethernet topologies.

Helped successfully completed numerous projects including upgrading client sites from LAN Manager 2.0 and 2.2. Also 3Com Mail to LM2.2 and MSMail.

1991-1994 Senior LAN Administrator - New York, NY

Supervised a staff of 3 in supporting A.I.A.C’s home office LAN Manager 2.0 LAN consisting of 500 users sharing 18 PS/2 95 file servers, running over Ethernet 10BaseT topology. This was one of AIG’s first networks to utilize MS Windows as the standard user interface to LAN applications. Responsibilities included LAN troubleshooting and maintenance, user training, and software upgrades. In addition, was in charge of evaluating, ordering and tracking all hardware and software for the home office, and fifteen regional and branch offices.

Provided LAN Administration support for AIG’s regional office LAN consisting of 350 users sharing 9 3Com File Servers running 3Com’s 3+Open operating system.
