Interline Brands, Shawnee, KS 1990-2016
2016: Contracted Warehouse Corporate Trainer Retained as contract employee to provide leadership and corporate training on new warehouse operating system. Facilitated redesign of warehouse layout and training of supervisory and hourly employees.
2010-2015: Warehouse Operations Manager and Corporate Trainer Managed the construction, stocking, and staffing of corporate warehouse facilities to meet company goals. Traveled to under-performing warehouses across U.S. to evaluate deficiencies, redesign facility layouts and train employees on changing layouts and operational procedures to improve efficiencies and boost customer service. Hired employees and created performance-based teams to improve order fulfillment time and error rates. Currently, part of pick-by-voice computerized operations deployment team, testing and training staff across the country.
1990-2009: Warehouse Manager Managed 18,000-square-foot Memphis warehouse containing 10,000 SKUs for division of Interline Brands, an international corporation based in Jacksonville, FL. Annual Memphis sales ranked as high as $4.4 million prior to facility closure in 2009. Operated Memphis warehouse while simultaneously traveling to manage the Birmingham warehouse for five months until that facility closed in 2008. Regularly dispatched as Warehouse Management Troubleshooter to under-performing warehouses in Nashville, Kansas City, Charlotte and New Orleans to identify and correct operational deficiencies, mentor warehouse management team and associates and restore operations to company standards.
