Looking to secure a position that will allow an individual with 13 years of teaching experience and over 5 years manufacturing and design experience to display exceptional communication, teaching, interpersonal and leadership abilities.

EXPERIENCE

NRL Coordinator / Manufacturing Technology Instructor, NTMA Training Centers of Southern California, January 2012-Present

Teach students in a wide range of manufacturing skills and technology, including; mathematics for the machine trades (basic math, algebra, geometry and trigonometry, blueprint reading, mechanical design theory, electronics, Solidworks, MasterCAM, AutoCAD, basic hand tools and precision layout, injection molding, bench and surface grinding, laser cutting, manual and CNC lathe and mill machining, 3D printing, CMM Inspection machines, and Wire EDM.

Developing and implementing MRP/ERP lessons for Advanced Machinist Program classes.

Responsible for ordering books, materials, tools, equipment, and software for utilization in all classes, and extra-curricular projects including Robotics, Skills USA, and the Manufacturing Challenge.

Put together a team of Instructors committed to improving on existing curriculum and developing and designing new projects to be used in part creation for the Machinist Training program.

Participate in professional growth classes through NIMS, NASASPS, and CAPPS.

Tasked with programming and manufacturing all 67 individual parts and spares that were utilized in the building of The Disk O’ Inferno.

Programming was done using Solidworks 2015, Cura, and MasterCAM X7.

Machines used: Haas VF1, Haas Mini Mill, Haas Tool Room Mill, Haas SL20, Bridgeport Milling Machine, Bridgeport Romi Lathe, Mitsubishi MD Pro II Wire EDM, and Airwolf HD2X 3D Printer.

Worked together with local industry professionals to gain access to equipment not available to us through the Training Centers (Waterjet, larger CNC machines, centerless grinders).
