Executive Summary

Dear Sir/ Madam

First, I would like to thank you for requesting my resume. I have summarized my career journey and my expertise in this section; however, I have added more detailed information at the attached appendices.

I have spent more than 24 years working for the Royal Air force of Oman rising from junior electrical engineer to head of Personnel Development and management Training section ‘PDMT’ at the Air Force Technical College (AFTC). Throughout my career I have built strong technical and soft skills including, engineering maintenance, teamwork, leadership, management, training, development, carrying out assessments and evaluations and course design encompassing all handbooks, syllabus and exams at the while gaining experience in the establishment.

Recently, I have attained my degree of Masters in the field of business Management and Administration from Bedfordshire University UK, which includes leadership, leading and managing people, strategy and other business management functions. This milestone has helped my business and managerial skills-sets to add my portfolio. This achievement has also put me in a position whereby I can I switch in my career path, looking for more challenging roles, in another area, to continue on my successful vocational journey.

Appendix 2: Employment History

1996 to 2004 I worked on RAFO SEEB airport, RAFO KHASAB, RAFO MASIRAH Air Force Bases:

a.From August 1996 to February 1998 period of On The Job Training as an electrical technician on maintenance and repair of C130, Sky van, BAC1-11 aircraft and bill 205, bill 212, and 214 B Helicopters.

b.I worked as helicopters electrical tradesman technician for repair and maintenance of electrical and instruments systems on bill 205, 214 B and bill 212 helicopters, first and second line maintenance from February 1998 to October 2001.

c.Supervising electrical tradesmen technician for repair and maintenance of electrical and instruments systems on bill 205, 214 B and bill 212 helicopters, first line and second line maintenance from October 2001 to March 2003.

d.I was sent as an electrical and avionics supervisor for 3 and 6 month detachments for repair and maintenance of electrical and avionics systems on bill 205 helicopters, in ‘SAR’ Search and Rescue Section in out stations RAFO KHASAB, RAFO MASIRAH bases airports.

e.Electrical and instruments instructor on Royal Air Force Technical College from April 2003 to October 2003.

f.Back to RAFO Seeb base as electrical supervisor on 2004.

2005-2010 Royal Flight and Norway CHC training Center and RAFO Musanah base:

a.From March 2005 to July 2006 I was selected as one of RAFO aircraft technician’s detachments group which were trained on Royal Flight Oman and Norway CHC training Center for training courses on SA 330 Puma and AS 332 L1 Super Puma helicopters aircraft.

b.Responsible as trade manager for all Puma and Super Puma helicopters electricians and avionics technicians on RAFO Musanah July 2006 to March 2010 in edition I was on charge of all on the job training tasks for all new technicians on helicopter maintenance flight ‘FOJT’.

c.In November 2008 I was sent to S.C IAR S.A Brasov Romania Manufacturer of Puma Helicopters, as one of RAFO technicians to flow up the inspection for RAFO puma helicopter in IAR Manufacture Company.

d.In December 2009 I was sent to S.C IAR S.A Brasov Romania Manufacturer of Puma Helicopters, as one of RAFO 3 technicians to do the acceptance inspection of electrical and avionics systems for RAFO puma helicopter in IAR Manufacture Company, which we flown back by through turkey, Syria, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, to RAFO Musanah base Oman which took about 7 days journey.

e.Supervisor of electrical and avionics trades, first and second line maintenance on puma, super puma and bill 205 helicopters.

2010-2013 AFTC (Air Force Technical College):

In charge of RAFO engineering Officers and technicians selected for Jadwal Maintenance project in all RAFO bases maintenance cells from November 2013 to October 2014.

2014-2017 until present time (AFTC, Air Force Technical College):

Posted again in the Air Force Technical College as head of PDMT Personnal Development and Management Training Section and teaching all courses mentioned above.

From July 2016 to April 2017 I was sent to United Kingdom RAF Cosford for (Instructors Exchange Course), Defense of School Aeronautical Engineering at AEMTS Aero systems Engineer and Management Training School in ‘EDF’ Engineer Development Flight Section:

a.I attended the ATSC Aircraft Technician Supervisor Course and TEAMT Technical Engineering Asset Management Training course. I taught some lessons to British aircraft technician on ATSC related to functions and principles of management, Lifting, Defense Workplace Trainer ‘DWT’, I also conducted some assessments related to ‘BMD’ Brief Monitor De-brief and skills/practical tasks.

b.I have also worked in Human Factors Flt for two weeks, where I completed a human factors continuation training course August/2016.

c.I have completed Technical Engineering Asset Management Training Course at Royal Air Force Cosford in August/2016.

d.I have completed Human Factors Continuation Training at Royal Air Force Cosford in August/2016.

e.I have been awarded the qualification of level 3 award in Education and Training in October/2016 awarded by ‘Ofqual’, two weeks intensive completed at Defense Center of Training Support/United Kingdom.
