PROJECT HISTORY
Construction Manager : Calgon Carbon
B-Line Coal Feed System and New Thermal Oxidizer.
Installation of Coal Transfer conveyor, Coal Bin, Feeder Room, Weigh Belt Feeders, Screw Conveyors. Demolition of existing horizontal incinerator and demolition of associated foundations. Installation of Thermal Oxidizer all associated electrical and piping and all associated platforms including new foundations. Substation was off site and owned by the Utility Company. We picked up dead end duct bank at the Substation fence line and installed Duct bank to the existing Electrical Rooms #4 and #5. Installed new Power Distribution cables and terminated. Project was completed four days ahead of schedule and commissioned two days ahead of schedule.

Allegheny Ludlum – Hot Strip Mill Project : Walbridge
Responsible for Electrical and Piping works for the Walking Beam Furnaces, Main Rougher Reversing Mill, Finishing Mill, Down Coiler, Roll Shop, Ingot Yard, Slab Storage, (22)-Overhead Cranes and Temporary Power. Substation was complete one year before I arrived on site. Installed new duct banks from de-energized Substation to Transformer alley and installed new Power Distribution cables and terminated.
Electrical Construction / Project/Construction Manager
IPR- V&M STAR, Youngstown Ohio, October 2009 to February 2012
Construction Manager in charge of the installation and commissioning of all the Power Distribution; 1st Phase of the project is the installation of a 4.16KV temporary power to Trailer City via 65’ wooden pole line; 2nd phase is the installation of a 23KV feeder for Construction Power via 85’ wooden pole line; 3rd Phase is the installation of a 138KV line via 110’ poles wooden and steel including steel towers (lattice work) to a new Metering Station and to the 138KV Substation with three 100 MVA Transformers. Also supervised all associated foundations that were required. Power to all seven Electrical Rooms including (32) - 7500KVA & 500KVA outdoor Transformers and five 34.5KV Medium Voltage Gas Insulated Switchgear. Installation of the Power Distribution duct banks and manholes and all associated feeds (34.5KV) to all of the Electrical Rooms. All the Power Distribution duct banks are schedule 80 6” and 4” conduit. Also supervised all Temporary Power including the High Bay Lighting, Overhead Cranes and power required for all contractors.

Demolition of the existing Coke Batteries and installation of a new Pipe Rack and new Gas Flew Line.
Severstal- Pickle Line Tandem Mill/Galvanizing Line
Demolition of an existing Slab Mill and the Soaking Pits. Relocation of the existing utilities including the Feeders to the scarfing aisle. Relocate the feeders to the Hot Strip Mill overhead cranes. Relocate the feeders to the Water Treatment Facility. Relocation of the existing 13.8KV Switchgear and the installation of a new Electrical Room and 480V MCC.
