Consultant\Support Technician

Took on role of being IT lead for the creation, development, and support of a website and phone application for a personal project. Ensured that business needs, development and deployment were met from a stake holder’s expectation. Also had some contracts helping upgrade some network components and ensuring that all software and firmware are up to date for the clients.

Key Accountabilities:

•Exposure to ERP systems such as SAP and Microsoft Dynamics

•Communicate directly with customers on a daily basis about progress on their projects and sharing roll out plan as to disrupt as little of production time as possible.

Work directly with the executive and management teams to scope out requirements, set priorities, and execute testing & implementation. Supply senior technical leadership to both IT and business organizations within the enterprise while staying in the forefront of technological advances.

Key Accountabilities:

•Project manager for EDI upgrade in ERP system. Project was on-time and 8% under budget.

•Developed rolling go-live plan with value-added network (VAN) which was adopted as an enterprise plan across all three business entities.

•Responsible for maintenance and modifications for ANSI X12 Document Types: 810, 812, 820, 846, 850, 855, 856, 860, 864, and 997.

•Evaluated all SAP Batch jobs to ensure maximum efficiency was reached and minimal system usage.

•Created a roll-out plan for the Canadian branches and make sure all users and profiles were imported correctly.

•Did all the document testing for the EDI roll-out to ensure that there were minimal document errors once we went live. Kept open communication with all users and trading partners once SAP was live in Canada

Mobile Device Manager 12/2011 – 08/2012

Managed all aspects of mobile device procurement and deployment. Responsible for management, inventory and depreciation cycles for over 1,100 devices. Extensive vendor management involving cost management, contract compliance, and satisfaction metrics.

•Created the organization training and distribution plan. This solution was selected over third-party solutions saving the company extraneous licensing fees
