Commendation for sensitive management of project involving the closure and merging of

Designed and successfully deployed Eurobond trading system infrastructure upgrade;
including full project management; integration of trader desk with back office settlements
functions, reporting, transaction confirmation and other departments through advanced
communications to optimise digital information/clearing feeds on UNIX workstations.
Organised a first of its kind conference at the National Film Theatre. Entertainment
Through Technology, a three-day conference with international proponents of digital
convergence within the attractions and film industries.
Developed proposals for DreamWorks Studios using advanced network technologies campus-
wide, optical-fibre integrated studio system using Gigaswitch hubs, media servers and
UNIX workstations. Negotiating with third parties such as Silicon Graphics and Digital

Project management of proprietary panoramic, anamorphic optical system for 360-degree
film and videography with Delft Instruments Electro-optics in The Netherlands.
Developed IP-based motion simulation system. Synchronised to one of three projected
images within an auditorium, the non-hydraulic system can simulate motion and sensory
experiences without the bone-jarring motion associated with hydraulic based systems
using standard PC technologies in a Local Area Network environment.
Managed project with the Centre for Research and Education in Optics and Lasers at the
University of Central Florida and Optical Design Service of Tucson, Arizona to evaluate,
assess and prove the viability for an anamorphic optical system for special venue films.
Provided technical and design proposals to meet specifications for Kunyoung World, an urban
21st century development in Korea combining commerce, entertainment, recreation,
accommodation and education. Wrote proposals providing educational and entertainment
options in line with the design principles of creating a true town centre, benefit the

Successful project management to prepare multiple systems for Y2K. Assess, monitor,
update and pre-test prior to going live all systems within Channel 4 TVs offices. Ensuring
all systems are Y2K ready, safe and stable. Continued reassurances, reporting and
evidence were essential to this project due to the fears at the time.
Developed technical and conceptual specifications for the Sea Gardens project as part of
Bournemouth 2000 development proposals. Technical lead on themed entertainment and
education components including a planetarium and the ECOsphere (a domed attraction
