Position : Sales Application Engineer - Components Reporting to : Sales & Marketing manager, Middle East Period : August 2013 - Present

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Selection and sales of industrial refrigeration equipment viz. Grasso screw compressors & piston compressors, Grasso screw compressor chillers & piston compressor chillers, BAC evaporative condensers, cooling towers, Kuba, Gutner & Goedhart Coolers, WITT refrigeration pumps, Ecoflex, Thermowave PHE, Danfoss and AWP refrigeration valves for all the above mentioned equipment according to the requirement of the customers in entire Middle East region & North Africa.

Preparing suitable design for clients based on territory, competition and requirements Meeting clients for understanding their technical and commercial requirements and make sure to satisfy the requirements.

Negotiating and purchasing of equipment from the suppliers primarily in Europe.

Arrangement of freight from European ports to Middle East and North African ports.

Preparing and sending documentations for the customers as per the requirement of the customs authorities in the respective countries.

Offering after-sales support services.

Administering client accounts, analysing costs and sales, recording and maintaining client contact data.

Supporting marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events.

Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a system design meets client needs. Position : Sales Application Engineer – Spare parts Reporting to : Service manager, Middle East

Period : February 2013 – August 2013

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supply of spare parts for GEA Grasso screw compressors, piston compressors, BAC evaporative condensers & cooling towers, Ammonia and water pumps, valves & controls from Danfoss & AWP etc. according to the client’s need and urgency

Handle after sales of projects commissioned in MENA region especially in UAE, Iran, Saudi Arabia and Egypt as well as in Pakistan.

Determine client’s requirements as per their RFQ and recommend purchase of apt spare parts and propose a cost effective proposition within the company sales policy.

Supply items in accordance with the customs regulation in the destination country.

Interact with corporate clients, suppliers, contractors, sales engineers and plant service engineers.

Meeting regular sales targets

Coordinate with logistics department of own and vendor companies to ensure the timely delivery of the order.

Helping finance department to allocate and record the payments made by the client.

Follow up with client for the payment according to the relevant payment terms.

Maintain and develop a good business relationship with the clients in the MENA market and with own factories/suppliers

Position : Service Engineer

Reporting to : Service manager, Middle East

Period : August 2012 - February 2013.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supervision of troubleshooting malfunctioning in industrial refrigeration small/medium/large screw & piston compressors to determine the cause of the malfunction.

Performs scheduled maintenance inspections, and adjusts, cleans and calibrates various systems to assure proper system operations.

Provides technical assistance with the design of refrigeration systems including installations and modifications to existing systems.

Supervision of replacing expansion valves, compressors, motors, coil units and other component parts.
