Position: Technical Project Manager / Client Service Manager.
Responsibilities: As Project Manager, facilitate and manage all new client installations on the Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and Billing System platforms using SDLC Waterfall and Agile methodologies. Gather business requirements, determine appropriate strategy, determine and manage relevant costs, materials and labor to complete all projects within relevant timelines and budget. As a Client Service Manager (CSM), responsible for all Business Requirement requests and escalations from 37 clients on Billing System and 300+ EDI clients.
DePalma Prod. Inc. (May 2011 to May 2012)
Position: Consultant / Project Manager.
Responsibilities: Meet with clients to develop project visions, goals and schedules. Create action plans to identify technical, administrative and logistical resources needed for projects. Develop detailed scope of work documentation for presentation to project cross-function teams and vendors.
CROTIS Systems (June 2009 to January 2011)
Position: Client Marketing/Business Relations Representative/Project Manager.
Responsibilities: Personally created CROTIS System, a scheduling and billing application. Conduct meetings as a Business and Technical liaison to insure quality of services and deliverables that meet and/or exceed client expectations. Develop software enhancements to ensure data integrity, as well as data analyses of customer base.

Department of Information Technologies and Telecommunication for the City of New York (DOITT) Administration for Children’s Services for the City of New York (ACS) (April 2001 to June 2009)
Position: Technical Project Manager for Special Projects
Responsibilities: Responsible for team building, budgeting, timelines, project scope and technical design evaluation for all mid and large scale IT Projects. Manage and direct technical teams from LAN / WAN, Security, Telecommunications, PC Desk Top Support, Software Development, as well as consultants and vender resources. Scheduling and steering weekly / monthly meets to identify, iterate, track, and evaluate, project mile-stones, dependences, resource matrices, and course-plotting. Mitigate and control project risk, change controls, scope creep, out-of-scope, duplication, and budget over-run. Present and manage the expectations of these findings to upper management, project sponsors and stake holders.
Accomplishments:
Introduced and incorporated a formal PMO methodology to IT department for small, mid, and large scale infrastructure and software development projects. Utilization of the SDLC models: Waterfall, Spiral and RAD/Prototyping.
Design of a new 10,000-sq. ft. Agency wide Centralized Data and Networking Center (Servicing 47 sites for the Administration for Children Services (ACS)).

-Manhattan: 7 Major Build-outs. Each project involved over 200 to 300 Data and Voice Stations.
-Brooklyn: 4 Major Build-outs. Each project involved over 200 to 400 Data and Voice Stations.
Note: All the above projects involved One Main Server room, one MDF Room, 3 to 7 Hub and IDF rooms, as well as Long Distance Training/Learning Center.
Created and conducted RFI, RFP, negotiation and award process for:
-a 3 year $3 million Agency wide Master Cabling contract for all large-scale build outs and brake fix services.
-a 3 year $3.5 million Agency wide Master PBX Service contract.
-a 3 year Agency wide Microwave Back-up Telephone Service contract.
Kaplan Education Inc. (April 2000 to April 2001)
Position: Technical Project Manager, Acting Telecommunication Director
Responsibilities: Responsible for all Technical and budgetary aspects of new build outs due to (a) Relocation, (b) Centralization, and (c) Market Penetration. These aspects include the facilitation of technical disciplines such as, Local Area / Wide Area Networking, Telecommunication (international Call Center), Systems Architecture and Cable Plant Infrastructure as well as project capital budgeting.
Accomplishments:
Directed all technical disciplines in the Networking, Telecommunications, System design, and Desk Top Support departments. Preformed RFP and vendor awarding process. Designed Data Centers, Hub and Telecommunications room layouts, as well as Cable Plant layouts, for major projects located in:
-New York NY: Relocation of Data center and International Help Desk.
-Boston MA: Centralization of 5 major facilities.
-Houston TX: Centralization of 3 major facilities
-Orange County CA: Centralization of 3 major facilities.

Responsibilities: Planning, organizing, budgeting, directing and managing the design, development, implementation, operation and maintenance of computerized Management Information Systems.
Accomplishments:
-Chairperson for Information Systems Leadership Subcommittee (Committee consisted of CIO’s and IT Directors of 18 member Organizations). The Subcommittee was charged with exploring new technologies, receiving and reviewing updates on monthly bases of ongoing projects in member facilities, and conducted RFI and RFP process of System wide projects for presentation to Information Systems Task Force (ISTF consisted of CFO’s and CEO’S of the 18 member organizations).
-Chairperson for Telecommunication Subcommittee (Committee consisted of Telecommunication Directors and Purchasing Directors of 18 member Organizations). Subcommittee charged with exploring ways to reduce cost in:
-Local and Long distance phone services.
-Pager (in-house and long range) Services.
-Cellular Services.
-T1 Services for Data and Voice Communications and to present these recommendations / findings to the Information Systems Task Force.
-Design and implementation of a TCP/IP Wide Area Network connecting 37 Organizations. The Network encompasses the Manhattan, Staten Island, Yonkers, Westchester, and upstate areas.
-Overseeing the Installation of a centralized multi site (5 Organizations) financial system.
-Directed the RFP, vendor award, and Installation processes for $7,000,000 Phone Switch Project that services seven Organizations.
St. Vincent’s Hospital and Medical Center. (February 93 to January 2000)
Position: Information Technology Manager.
Responsibilities: Manage and coordinate Data Communication, PC Support, and Help Desk Departments. Managing the development and implementation of all Information Technology projects. Manage and maintain a 2,000 peripheral network, which spans over eight platforms and 12 buildings.
Accomplishments:
-Managed the implementation of a campus wide cable plant (MDF, 10 BDF’s, 33 IDF’s).
-Managed the purchasing and deployment of a 200 peripheral ATM Radiology Project.
-Managed the purchasing and licensing agreement for a multiple site credentialing application.
-Designed and managed a campus wide conversion from an SDLC/SNA environment to a TCP/IP LLC.2 routed Network. The project consisted of 10 major nodes and over 800 peripherals.
-Managed portions of a project entailing the conversion from an SMS In-house mainframe system to a SMS RCO environment.
-Negotiation of service and licensing contracts for applications, hardware and support.
-Managing IT Department: Data communication, PC Support and Help Desk Staff.
-Conducting network and systems evaluation to meet departmental needs and goals.
