Responsible for Civil activities and structural erection of Junction Houses, Screen Houses, Bunker Houses (e.g. Conveyor Galleries, Trestles, Columns, Beams, Bracings, Bunkers, Hoppers, etc).

Managing erection & alignment of typical equipment (Pulleys, Plummer Blocks Assembly, Gearboxes, Take-Up Units, Motor, Trippers, Screens, Vibrofeeders, etc).

Coordinating with Vendors & Engineering Centre for procurement of various material handling equipments.

Checking civil, structural & equipment drawings for approval and their execution.

Lead member in spare parts management team.

Coordination:

Coordinates detailed programs for work carried out directly and work handled by sub-contractors, solving contingent problems on site. Optimizing the use of materials and available equipment.

Monitors construction activities to ensure work efficiency and the workmanship meet project standard and specifications.

Monitors Works Assistants to ensure their correct supervision of work and to provide Foremen with the necessary capabilities in order to carry on the activity, in compliance with established program, progress and costs objectives, as part of a wider objective to optimize manpower.

Handling 10 MTPA Iron Ore, 1.8MTPA Coal, 0.97MTPA Coke and various other Blast furnace raw materials.

Area Incharge of Port unloading conveyors, responsible for unloading bulk cargo vessels with minimum delays to yards.

Handling Vessel unloading operations of one of the largest non commercial ports (30 MTPA).

Area Incharge of Material Handling System Consisting of 52 conveyors, 4 Stacker cum reclaimers.

Planning manpower and equipment deployment on daily basis for smooth operation activities.

Modification of equipments and process to enhance quality of service and reduce downtime.
