I am presently employed by Comcast Cable in New Jersey as a Head End Facilities Manager.
My role is providing support to nine Head End engineers that design, deploy and maintain the Comcast backbone/node network. These networks consist of voice, video and data transport. This would include working with RF design engineers for deployment and turn up of digital networks that support all of Comcast Cable offerings within Northern New Jersey footprint. I have extensive central office build out while working at AT&T. Extensive communications tower construction and maintenance throughout my career.
December 2006 – March 2007 Lab Testing manager
Promoted to this assignment, I worked in Moorestown, NJ for Comcast. Testing multiple vendors VOIP switches that Comcast was deploying for the VOIP rollout. This work required the set up and programming of the switch and testing the feature functionally of the switch and related network hardware.
This testing is providing a baseline for Comcast to see if the vendor had provided what Comcast has requested, within the engineering requirements.
It also provided a comparison to the other vendor’s similar products. This work also supplies detailed test documentation that is then evaluated by the Comcast engineering group before deployment.
AT&T

Technical Specialist Technology/SVCS Sys Engineer, Labs International – Morristown, New Jersey
Employed by AT&T for testing and certification of new SONET/ATM/equipment deployed into the international network. Work encompassed evaluating new vendor equipment (Lucent, Alcatel) to determine if it past testing and could be deployed into the network. I supported the remote monitoring network and any existing telecommunications equipment and providing operational support to various work centers and undersea cable heads.
Worked closely with project managers for a massive deployment of Lucent, Alcatel and NEC fiber optic transport systems. Saved company $85,000 by identifying a solution to monitor an Alcatel box located in an MCI building where AT&T leased space. This was achieved by using existing secure fibers between the two central offices.
Proactively educated other employees on how to use a new complex ordering system WEB site that was developed by an outside vendor; met the challenge of providing training during massive deployment of the new fiber optic system.
