OBJECTIVE: Manufacturing Engineering position designing, testing and improving new and or existing products using a hands-on approach in combination with simulation.

PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY: My current occupation has provided me with over 9 years of manufacturing experience in multiple facets. This experience, in addition to my educational experience working with mills, lathes, hydraulic pumps, digital meters and non-destructive testing (dye penetrant, ultrasonic, eddy current and magnetic particle testing) and 3D modeling software will serve as a benefit to any organization as I will be able to view any problem from both an engineering and end user point of view.

WIN SYSTEM (Inventory Control)

Monitors and maintains current inventory levels; processes purchasing orders as required; tracks orders and investigates problems.

Records purchases, maintains database, performs physical count of inventory, and reconciles actual stock count to computer-generated reports.

Receives, unpacks, and delivers goods; re-stocks items as necessary; labels shelves.

Processes and/or approves invoices for payment.

Processes and documents returns as required following established procedures.

Product Testing

Ensure quality of manufactured goods meet rigid FDA requirements

Inspect components, subassemblies, and assemblies.

Perform complex tests using instruments and equipment such as thermometers, voltmeters or moisture meters, to test products

Produce detailed reports.

Observe dials, gauges and indicators to make sure that a machine is working properly.

Clean and repair machines.

Quality Assurance

Interpret, implement and evaluate adequacy quality assurance standards

Devise sampling procedures and directions for recording and reporting quality data

Plan, conduct and monitor testing and inspection of materials and products to ensure finished product quality

Document internal audits and other quality assurance activities

Collect and compile statistical quality data

Develop, recommend and monitor corrective and preventive actions

Prepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities

Assure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements

Safety Coach

Attend monthly Safety Coach Meetings for networking, communication, and skills development.

Participate in Safety Coach training to further knowledge of and enhance coaching skills and techniques.

Meet regularly with unit/area leadership to discuss safety observations, successes, and barriers to safety.

Encourage the adoption and application of the [organization's expectations for] error prevention tools and behaviors..

Provide regular safety reports to unit/area.

Utilize, and encourage others to utilize, safety reporting mechanisms to appropriately report any patient, staff, or visitor safety concerns, specifically the PSN.
