Results: Achieving highest quarterly design re-certifications and new CES designs. Succeeding in delegating design re-certifica-

tion to engineers in India which represented almost 60% of team’s quarterly workload. Succeeding in delegating design obsolescence to engineers

in China representing approximately 5% of team’s quarterly workload. Successfully achieing transition of PFF database from Lotus Notes to Web-

based application.

CES Engineer: Designing customer engineering special options for customizing standard system configurations. Identifying problems and trouble-shooting a wide range of difficult electro/mechanical problems. Defining, coordinating, performing, and documenting engineering test reports. Supervising the development, design, and/or modification of mechanical engineering layouts/schematics and/or detailed drawings/specifications of difficult scope. Supervising and/or performing engineering analysis of difficult and complex scope. Independently prioritizing tasks and multi-tasking between daily CES priorities and flexing over to other engineering group projects. Specifying and reviewing engineering documentations. Providing mentoring for less experienced engineers. Implementing concepts for a variety of product issues and mechanical solutions. CDI contracting for APPLIED MATERIALS, Austin, Texas (March 2006 – March 2007)

Results: Achieving the completion of the entire 300MM P3i chamber Operational Methods Sheet (OMS).

Senior Illustrator: Working independently to schedule validation builds, verifying the Sequence of Operations (SOE), and providing Operational Methods Sheet (OMS) to document the manufacturing assembly processes for chambers, integration, and Customer Prep. Practicing Applied Materials workmanship standards and providing updates to manufacturing documentation which reflects the most current standards. Preparing documentation for engineering change orders, modifying assembly drawings, authoring engineering change orders and managing engineering changes through the Applied Materials engineering change process(TcE). Responding to manufacturing Issue Feedback Forms (IFF) by researching OMS or Bill of Materials (BOM) issues, and providing solutions to issues by writing and implementing Engineering changes to correct the BOM or manufacturing documentation issues. Participating in Front End Product (FEP) New Product Transitions and providing

Manufacturing Assembly documentation for new products. Traveling to outsourced suppliers participating in controlled builds. Creating and modifying CAD models using Unigraphics Solutions (UGNX), AutoCAD Inventor, and Solid Works software developing assembly documentation.

PROTOTYPE EXCLUSIVES, Austin, Texas (November 2003 – March 2006)

Results: Achieving 70% of protoypes maturing to production and/or final product.

Design Engineer: Designing electro-mechanical fixtures and devices for small companies and individual clients. Managing the products’ conceptual design, prototype, modification, and test phases. Providing patent documentations, user’s manual, test data, manufacturing instructions, and prototype devices for the clients applying for patent.

PALCO LABORATORIES, INC., Scotts Valley, California (February 2000 – November 2003)

Results: Succeeding in palm-held pulse oximeters entering the market place and supporting all products with associated test fixtures.

Mechanical Engineer: Designing test fixtures for pulse oximeter PCB sub-assembly and final assembly production. Integrating devices involving proximity sensors, IR emitters/detectors, and fiber optics. Requesting part fabrication by machine shop. Reviewing project instructions/documentations. Implementing cost-effective design modifications. Assisting Project Engineering in initiating, coordinating, and completing of ECR/ECO process and compiling associated documentations. Writing and evaluating procedures and work instructions for pre-production and production process. Controlling pre-released documentation and drafting bills of materials and manufacturing instructions. Training production assemblers and testers on new test fixtures and manufacturing instructions.

SEAGATE TECHNOLOGIES, Scotts Valley, California (July 1995 – January 2000)

Results: Completing the transfer and modification of automated disc drive build lines for 3 generations of disc drives in Singapore and Thailand.

Automation Engineer: Designing and prototyping semi-automatic and fully automatic tooling and test fixtures for disc drive build lines. Controlling pre-released documentation and drafting bills of materials. Modifying and redesigning existing tooling for semi-automatic and fully automated fixtures for handling new products. Providing technical support for disc drive group and for class 10 clean room.
