Act as Company site representative for Coating activities and undertake regular coating / corrosion condition surveys and paint inspections.
Support the QA / QC Construction Superintendent on site ensuring that the Construction Contractor is fully conversant with all Company project Coatings Inspection related standards and procedures.
Verify that Construction Contractor staff is in receipt of copies of the Chemical and Physical Test Certificates for materials which require such documentation by Code requirements.

Monitor and ensure that a comprehensive record of documentation and certification of NDE & Coatings Inspection work is maintained, and assist in the satisfactory ‘handover’ of completed package from Construction Contractor to Company.
Ensure the Construction Contractor provision of Coatings material receipts, handling, inventory control and distribution at site and maintain an auditable record of all material related transactions.
Ensure that all deliveries are inspected on arrival and that the quantities and quality are as specified before the invoice or delivery note is approved. Ensure that Over Shortages & Damage (OS&D) reports are rendered as necessary.
Ensure that Construction Contractor receipt of all Coatings material and equipment is stored safely and is protected, where necessary, from climatic conditions. In particular, ensure that any specific storage instructions are implemented. Liaise with the QA / QC Construction Superintendent to determine the best storage position for difficult or bulky items.
Supervise the following Site Coatings Inspection interfaces and ensure that Company / Project standards and procedures are fully aligned.
Support the QA / QC Construction Superintendent and other Discipline Superintendents on all aspects of Coatings Inspection activities and ensure that interfaces with other disciplines are managed effectively.
Ensure all agreed Contractor and Fabrication Contractor Insulation ITPs and procedures are implemented within the yard.
Inspection of all Insulation related aspects and, where applicable, sign-off on behalf of the Company.
Provide regular reports on Insulation discipline quality status/issues to the QA/QC Lead – Module Yard.
Monitor Fabrication Contractors insulation materials receipt, storage and handling processes.
Perform Company QC in fabrication yard testing (including applicator qualifications, records traceability).
