PROJECT EXPERIENCE

I have had the opportunity to work on projects (Private, Public, GSA, and Federal Ops) that involve experienced and professional team members which include City Officials, Contracting Officers, Architects, Engineers, Project Managers, Superintendents, and various Inspectors. Throughout my career, I have consistently demonstrated an ability to organize, motivate and complete projects in a timely manner. I take pride in my work and enjoy challenges that enable me to work close with Team members or clients to develop and establish procedures or policies to get obtain superior results. As a General Contractor for the past 18 years, I have been exposed to various projects that have varied in size. Small (2 man crews) and large (30-50 man crews) has given me vast experience. GOVERNMENT CONTRACTOR (US ARMY, NAVY, FAA, FOREST SERVICES), 8(A) CONTRACTOR

Pursued, bid, estimated, and managed multiple projects throughout the U.S. with multiple Contracting Officers. Obtained an 8(a) certificate and was awarded multiple projects including IDIQ open purchase order as well as small acquisition projects (service and credit card projects of (2500-25.000) Reviewed project scopes, negotiated contracts/budgets and managed project schedules with Civilian and Military personnel. Projects included over 50 jobs consisting of HVAC, Lighting Retrofit, Warehouse remodeling, Electrical Services, underground piping, Concrete, Asphalt, Building renovations and excavation for field operations.

COMMUNITY ACTION PARTNERSHIP WEATHERIZATION SERVICES 9M (2002-2016)

Specialized in home services for Low income and Senior clients. We serviced over 12,500 homes and conducted Energy Audits and Assessments, HVAC, attic and floor insulation, Roofing, Door and Window Replacement, ADA renovations, Duct and Shell Testing. Testing included specialized Blower Door, Duct testing, and Quality control. Steady involvement with City, County, and Government personnel for inspections, Quality Control and general reporting for future funding cycles. These types of projects are funded by Federal Government, including DOE, ARRA, State of California and Gas/Electric companies. The average per individual home project averaged ($1500-$8000). Given leads by county, then arranged workload with client. Plenty of customer relations!

HERO PROGRAM (2013-2016)

Contractor services for residential and commercial clients which also includes managing/maintaining client and HERO budgets and working within the specs. Provide home and business solutions to improve and reduce Energy usage. Audits, Solar retrofits, HVAC DESIGN, and solutions for 150,000+ home improvement needs. As both Contractor and Sales Representative, we provided the best and most lucrative Energy and Home related solutions that provided effective savings, needed Renovation and visual beautification.

NEW CONSTRUCTION AND RENOVATION ON PUBLIC WORKS-CITY OF HESPERIA (2013)

Existing Facilities Renovations- Managed NSP Beautification and upgrade with Energy compliant requirements of 10 foreclosed homes owned by the City of Hesperia. Met with City officials, budgetary requirements, schedule subcontractors, cost management, maintain project data, process change orders, schedule and conduct meeting between City, Architects/Engineers and Subcontractors

ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AGENCY (EDA) (2005-2014)

Contractor for federal and state Grant Program (Block Grant) provided to cities and County residents. We competitively bid and awarded projects requiring Home Improvements and repairs. These project consisted of everything from Roof replacement, HVAC, complete kitchen and bathroom remodels, Doors and windows, and ADA Renovation for Senior clients. Contracts varied from $5000-35,000 projects.

ENERGY COALITION (2006-2009)

Contractor for Six City Energy Education Project (funded by PUC). Organized and facilitated field education, Audits, and hands on Installation of energy efficient measures (lighting, weatherization, t-stats, testing, and assessments) for over 5,000 homes, mobile homes, apartments, and 500 Small Business’ primarily in the cities of Irvine, Moreno Valley, Palm Desert, and Brea. This pilot program provided services between $250-1500.

SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA EDISON/ SDGE (2003-2013)

Active participation in Multi-family Rebate Programs and Small business upgrade program. Sought out developments, property managers, and business owners to encourage Energy Efficiency Upgrades. Education and Contractor Services for Retrofit (designs and installation), Renewable Resources and Application (Solar and alternatives), Demand Response (lighting and heating controls), and Energy Audits.
