Spectrum-ShaRC student cognitive radio contest 2016 Oct 2015-June 2016
Configured best FEC, Modulation and gain parameters of Cognitive Radio Engine (CE) resulting in Top 5 positions of phase-1
Documented the procedure to run CE on ORBIT and tested spectrum sensing performance of CE for modifications of CE in phase-2
Modified CE for taking sensing duration as command-line argument, analyzed the data for sensing duration and power measured on channel and used the statistics to find the most appropriate network loading configuration for CE resulting in Top 3 ranking.
Android controlled vehicle over Bluetooth Feb-May 2016
Successfully designed, developed and delivered a working Android application to control the vehicle
Implemented the C++ code to interface Digital IR- sensor and Bluetooth with STM32F4
Efficiently integrated code modules of sensor and Bluetooth with servo motor to achieve smooth movements
LTI Filtering with Sparsity Based De-noising Mar-May 2016
Developed combined filtering method for Linear Time Invariant and Sparse signal components using the convex optimization approach using MATLAB
Successfully widened the range of signals that can be filtered with more efficient algorithm than separate filter methods
Melange Application for audio mash-up Sep-Dec 2015
Designed, developed and delivered a python application for mixing various audio tracks of user’s choice
Successfully designed appealing GUI of application using Tkinter
Achieved successful implementation of mixing audio effects Vibrato and Flanger with user’s real-time voice input
Software Defined Radio Design Project Sep-Dec 2015
Collected and analyzed a data in MATLAB and Excel to by running series of experiments on WITEST to find optimal parameters
Achieved maximum reception of correct data without interference with obtained optimal configuration
Improved performance by introducing Forward Error Correction and Spectrum agility algorithm that secured place in Top 3 teams
Smart Notice-Board using Android based Embedded System Aug 2013-May 2014
Highly appreciated for successful on-time delivery of the project from its basic idea, leadership & organizational qualities
Ported android on Devkit-8000 using AT commands, calibrated its LCD screen, resolved the problem of screen resolution
As a project leader successfully completed the most challenging task of learning and building android application from scratch
Helped my team with troubleshooting and debugging, understanding iMX51 EVK (Wi-Fi module) & Devkit-8000 (Ethernet module)
Accelerometer driven wheel-chair Jan-May 2013
Interfaced accelerometer with new microcontroller MPC5604B with Embedded C code written and debugged in CodeWarrior
Highly appreciated by faculty for thinking to do something out of the box and accomplishing it by choosing MPC5604B and exploring the functions instead of using common 8051 from curriculum
Freescale Cup India 2013 Aug 2012-Feb 2013
Took initiative to study the controller architecture and functions thoroughly & came up with logic of providing PWM to servo motor
Contributed in writing and debugging of basic code in CodeWarrior to control the speed and direction of vehicle
Calibrated camera sensor and Optimized PID algorithm for smooth movements achieving highest speed of 300 rpm ACHIEVEMENTS:
Winner of 3rd rank in Spectrum-ShaRC contest 2016 at Viginia Tech University
One of the Finalists in Freescale Cup smart car competition at IISc, Bangalore, India 2013
Winner of 2nd rank in Analog Integrated Circuit Design Project at EC Engineering Department, NIT Surat 2012
