Responsible for the development of Quality planning which supported the P.O. and drawing requirements, process control, product validation and continual improvement. Reviewed customer contracts and interpreted requirements for new jobs. Developed, implemented, and conducted training for the use of Quality Management System standards and procedures. Maintained all AS, ISO, and NADCAP certifications. Coordinated all third party (ISO, AS, and NADCAP, customer) system and special process audits. Implemented a new housekeeping plan for the acids etch room in the weld area. Transformed room into a 5S compliant workstation.

Developed a CAR tracking system that the CAR owners would receive notification that the CARs were due and they would have to explain their action every Friday to management and if the CAR wasn’t closed their action to close the CAR.

With the Quality Team achieved an audit score of 84% during the Mitsubishi audit, second highest score ever given to a company that was being audited and considered to be a future supplier.

Implemented a “WWW” (What Went Well, informative tier meeting), during the upper tier meetings, “WWW” highlights the positive actions that took place the prior day.

Updated and revised 50% of the QA Forms to meet latest AS/ISO requirements.

Updated all statistical forms to be user friendly for all employees to be able to interpret.

Engineer II APU Power Plant Engineer

Monitored the performance of the Auxiliary Power Units for large commercial Airlines. Dispositioned engines to the customer work scope, which were provided in a quick and timely manner. Engine family consists of Honeywell APU’s 331-350C, 331-400B, 331-500B and 36-300A. Worked closely with customers (US Airways, United Continental Airlines, and Delta Airlines) to resolve issues with engines, such as smell in cabin reoccurrences. Answered technical questions for customers that were a concern in the Commercial Maintenance Manuals (CMM) and Engine Maintenance Manuals (EMM), along with service bulletin inquiries. Maintained constant feedback with Product Support Engineers to ensure engine issues were made visible so that future problems were corrected in a quick and timely manner for the customer.
