To Whom It May Concern:
Enclosed is my resume for your review. My continuing growth and responsibilities, as well as management skills have taught me to become a proficient, resourceful and results oriented leader who actively participates to achieve team goals. Using my experience and inter-personal skills, I have directed and interfaced with technical and sustaining engineers, with manufacturing operations bringing new product to schedule.
Working with contract manufactures and procurement teams, guaranteeing timely deliveries of components to maintain our build schedule integrity. Directly responsible for the P&L of projects, builds and attainment of schedules. Optimized staffing utilization and service levels through build objectives and labor schedules with our Ft. Worth facility, which enabled me to support the build of New Product Introductions, and Special Projects. These processes have been documented by a cross-matrix of management and are currently used as SOP models within the facility.
Currently developed GMP for the return of product for repair, upgrade for of San Diego facility, interfacing directly with third party vendors.
I created new pricing schedules for Program Managers within our SBU, to generate revenue and reduce on hand inventory in the Ft. Worth facility. These practices have developed and improved the Lean manufacturing practices at the facility.
By establishing GMPs and Continuous Improvement training program, I was able to negotiate the consolidation of an off site warehouse, eliminating two off site facilities, with no compensation outlay.
Being a key player for James Spring, I was very involved with lean manufacturing practices, cost improvement through out the facility, SPC practices, safety, building and grounds maintenance, and the beginning phases of ISO 9000. Being engaged in Quality, my team was able to teach employees QC techniques and implement processes, which could be used in a cell environment. Used cellular manufacturing techniques to maintain inventory levels.
I look forward to the opportunity of further discussing my qualifications with you.
Regards,
Thomas J. Kenny
