Observed, sampled and tested soils and concrete. Tested soils utilizing the nuclear density gauge. Tested concrete for temperature, slump and air, and grout for temperature. Also observed placement of and observed PDAs for DeWaal Piles.

Convinced co-workers to perform their work duties and complete paperwork throughout the day rather than after returning to the work trailer.

Retrained some co-workers on proper use and care of nuclear density gauge and concrete air pressure meter. Also, tried to convince them to clean the equipment properly.

Discovered deleterious soil being placed improperly and a concrete mix changed in the middle of a concrete pour, halting both operations before too much damage could occur.
