Nine years of progressive career experience teaching, training and presenting has enabled me to make strategic decisions, carry out organizational development initiatives; and make cost effective choices associated with designing/developing training and professional development programs. My engagement in employee training and development has included multiple and changing roles including: learning strategist; business partner; project manager; and educational coordinator; which have improved the ways both people and systems accomplish work, obtain new knowledge and skill. In both professions exceeding client expectations and improving the organization’s overall performance is my principal goal. Considerable practice in casework principles, teaching, and training in counseling methods has enabled me to help these young people in crisis advance toward a healthy adulthood. Value has been added by providing my staff with ongoing educational opportunities and socio-emotional mentoring trainings to assist youth who display challenging and escalating behaviors, and who experience crisis. Duties relative to Program/Quality Control Manager include fiscal oversight of the operation and program monitoring and development including, data collection ensuring program meets all county, state, and federal compliance requirements; assurance of accurate and up-to-date policies and procedures; oversight of client admission and discharge processes; delivery of resident programs and support services; evaluation, review, and updates to resident assessments and treatment planning. 1. Created an ethics education and training program in a blended and f-2-f formats including training and resource guides, geared towards department administrator’s to promote integrity and honesty to decrease errors in ethical decision making, and avoid conflicts between employees’ own personal interests, and their public responsibilities.

2. Coordinated the design and development of just-in-time training for staff, which modified procedures/training guides to improve efficiency, staff buy-in and ownership, along with a process map to identify and clarify business procedures that reduced organizational ambiguity.

3. Developed a two week intercultural awareness training prototype for executives to supplement integrated e-learning activities and satellite installation’s to improve cultural knowledge and interactions, leadership and communication skills, cohesiveness between international units and speed in decision-making processes, and overall productivity and revenue for the organization abroad.

4. Designed the “Successful Career Transitions”; course utilizing web-based teaching platform (d2l) to provide participants with information required to develop and enhance their career options.

Collaborated with an instructional design team to create a hybrid distance education and f-2-f literacy program prototype “Matokeo Ya Uafutaji Kawa” literacy community outreach program” in Dakar, Senegal to provide a community-based, non-formal literacy and tutoring program in partnership with the graduate level leadership class of Cheikh Anta Diop University to serve women who were functionally illiterate.
