Performed, for the first time in the lab, DNA damage analysis in trophoblast cells using various techniques (Immunofluorescence, Western Blot and Comet Assay, ELISA);
Examined potential detrimental effects of LINE-1 retrotransposon on DNA integrity using next generation DNA/RNA sequencing, cell biology and biochemistry analysis in women with recurrent unexplained miscarriages. Data from this project are currently submitted to The New England journal of Medicine
Analyzing the potential use of reverse transcriptase inhibitors in combination with DNA repair inhibitors to treat cancer characterized by high LINE1 expression. Data from this project are currently submitted to Oncogene
