Overview

Bank of America C3PM project C3PM Credit Card Core Platform Modernization (C3PM) was a project where Card will be outsourcing its North America Consumer Card posting and billing processes to Total Systems. On conversion weekend, which was scheduled in 2014, about 75 million accounts were converted to Tsys. This was the largest conversion in the Card Industry.

From a technology perspective, this project created new network connectivity and interfaced between the bank and Tsys to support large data transmissions. The Technology Infrastructure team along with HP provided physical & logical connectivity between various Bank midrange data centers and the TSYS mainframe data centers. This new connectivity supported a data transmission rate of 1TB/hour. In scope for this project was an addition of 11 new circuits - 2 T1s, 4 OC 12s, 5 OC 48s. New midrange servers, firewall rules, and load balancing was also required throughout the duration of this project. This was a multimillion-dollar project for HP and bank of America that was completed in June 2014.

Infrastructure experience

Field Engineer - Installed, maintained and repaired telecommunications and associated equipment, which included wiring per specifications and operational procedure in support of domestic dispatch and Federal Aviation Administration FAA links project. Maintained and operated various transmission equipment that included NT OC-48, ALCATEL 21130 and digital radios, FUJITSU 1.8, DC power plants, generator and HVAC site support equipment. Supervised the repair and maintenance of physical site, shelter, compounds, and access to assigned MCI sites. Oversaw fiber cable security, including cable locates and route patrol/inspection. Monitored restoration and upgrade projects, initiated and assisted in fiber optic cable emergencies, restorations, and cable relocations.
