Austin, TX February 2015

Spent a month at the Samsung Semiconductor plant in Austin, Texas shadowing workers from quality control and other departments.

Studied the facilities and work procedures used in making semiconductors.

Smocked up in full dust-prevention gear and learned about the plant operations.

Worked with the Quality and Reliability department and learned how to use excel more efficiently and program. Applied statistics to quality control and factory production.

Lemelson-MIT InvenTeam

Austin, TX September 2013 – July 2014

Member of InvenTeam that received a grant from the Lemelson-MIT foundation

Constructed a device to help the blind and visually impaired navigate around school settings using 3-D printing and Arduino technology.

Visited the Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired and worked with students on the construction of the device.

Presented final product at MIT’s EurekaFest.
