PERSONAL PROFILE
I am a highly motivated and committed individual whose passion for excellence in creating outstanding travel experiences is evident in my professional experiences and commitment to continuous development. I present a dynamic and committed professional with extensive experience in management, education, business logistics and administration which provide a wide range of transferrable skills.
I believe passionately that positive relationships are the foundation upon which everything else is built upon in a successful business. Relationships with clients, colleagues and stakeholders are essential to the successful operation and growth of any business, none more so than in the travel and recreation markets. In my experience, the ability to deliver experiences of the highest quality to all guests- from initial enquiry to delivery- secures their return and builds a positive ethos amongst clients. Furthermore, and perhaps more importantly, ensuring that all members of an organisation buy into a collective vision is what takes a business from good to great.
Throughout my career I have developed a passion and commitment towards ensuring that guests feel supported in their experience and that their needs are at the heart of the programme devised for them. In my time in education I applied the same approach to learners and staff, ensuring that their needs were met and that any challenges were addressed in a timely and appropriate manner. I work effectively and efficiently both individually, and equally as part of a team, with a high level of precision and with excellent organisational skills.
I have excellent communication and listening skills allowing me to work at the highest level and am confident that my knowledge and experience (both theoretical and applied) can be utilised to great effect. I am very able to work under pressure in demanding and challenging situations and am adept at managing workloads accordingly. I know that sound financial management, budgeting and planning alongside the advancement of the organisations strategic vision is crucial to the success of the organisation.
I firmly believe that my extensive experience and leadership skills provide me with a strong foundation on which to advance my career and to fulfil both my personal and professional goals and aspirations.
