Led several initiatives to replaced Ad hoc work requests with repeatable batch processes and reduce the incidences of existing batch job failures. These projects reduce the time spent on non-value added activities and improved overall reliability.
Managed multiple concurrent software release upgrade projects on vendor software products in order to facilitate vendor support; software integration compatibility; and take advantage of the latest features (North Plains TeleScope; IBM Campaign (Unica); Pitney-Bowes StreetSweeper, CODE-1 Plus, and VeriMove).
Managed the licensing and maintenance renewals for all vendor software utilized in the Marketing Application Portfolio. Annual budget of over $500,000.
Project management responsibilities included scope, requirements, time, cost, quality, risk, procurement, stakeholder management. Performed monitoring, documentation, and communication activities on all aspects of the projects in order to ensure the scope, direction, budget, and schedule remain on track.

Managed a project to select and implement a global DAM solution (North Plains TeleScope) to replace existing solution. The new solution was implemented to improve findability and increase the reuse of existing digital imagery. Project budget was $800,000.
Member of cross-functional project team to implement a defensible information governance practice for departmental share drives that supports corporate retention policies and reduce storage utilization.
Managed three simultaneous projects to 1) identify and evaluate a file transfer software; 2) develop an application to improve the management metadata controlled vocabulary; and 3) develop an application to facilitate the collection metadata from the advertising agencies.
Member of cross-functional team looking into the adoption of the agile development methodology to improve application delivery.
Implemented a re-design of the Marketing Product Information user interface. The new user interface was implemented to improve the usability and upgrade the application to a common architecture platform.

Lead IT Application Developer – Manufacturing / Material Forecasting / Non-Production Material

Managed a project to reduce the end-of-day batch processing time for the vehicle assembly plants, to facilitate the addition of a third shift. Reduced the processing time from five hours to less than one hour.
Performed a process redesign that allowed the material forecast to be generated on a daily basis as opposed to weekly. This project provided the capability to more quickly assess the impact of changes in material requirements, which resulted in the reduction of part shortages and surplus.
Led a project to implement a feature in the vehicle production scheduling process that allowed the assembly plants to efficiently replace vehicles already in the production schedule in response to short-term part shortages.
