Provided senior-level leadership leveraging military and government intelligence and counterintelligence experience to significantly transform security operations at one of the world’s business hotels. Charged with leading and mentoring all safety and security leadership and staff.

Promoted from the loss prevention manager position after demonstrating impeccable operations management when designing program improvements to eliminate criminal activity.

Created great guest experiences; recognized through the evaluation of the hotel.

Setup of the first Marriott Brand Hotel in El Salvador.
Ensured the property was classified as the safest in the country by the State Department; only property utilized by US Officials, Safe Haven for US Companies.
Partnered with police, military, and government officials to ensure the safety of visiting dignitaries, including hosting President Bush.
Evaluated existing departments upon Marriott’s takeover of the facility; set up according to Marriott Standards and best practices of Safety and Security.
Successfully contracted new personnel, training, and structure to operate the department in a very difficult security environment.
Established the Crisis Plan and trained personnel to respond in a difficult environment.
Setup, hired, and trained Loss Prevention and garage departments, such as valet parking and transportation.
