I am a full graduate of Kyambogo University, Kampala -Uganda, where I offered Bachelors of Arts in Social Work and Community Development. Having spent the three years. I am eager to incorporate myself once again into the above listed job, to which I can bring experience in a number of sectors of the organization.
Through three years in the social work field, I have acquired a deep love of and appreciation for community outreach, monitoring and evaluation, community developmental programs and guidance and counseling.
This enthusiasm allowed me to introduce a list of various solutions that were generated to try to solve people’s challenges. The result was an appreciable increase in enhancement and empowerment attendance by many clients. As a worker in Serere District Local Government allowed me to expand upon my knowledge of social work and community development, locally inspired the stake holders, clients and standards of service. Our weekly blind-tastings fueled my desire to further myself in this field.
Most recently, I have finished working with Serere District Local Government where I was lucky enough to work in the Community Development and Probation office in Serere, Uganda. I adored working with the people living with disabilities, orphans, widows, people with HIV-AIDS and domestic violence issues within the district level and the surrounding areas, the largest of its kind in the region. A position at your organization would allow me to draw upon this experience and to facilitate the success of such services. Additionally, it would enable me to replicate the most enjoyable components of my experience overall: working with my colleagues in any of the above listed jobs, as well as with distinctive projects and organizations.

Program Mobiliser
Worked with USAID program in serere District Local Government for three months.
USAID program helpes the vulnerable people in communities especially children and elderly people living with the HIV-AIDS. This is aimed at ensuring that they cope up with the disease so easily. This program provides packed food full of nutrition for good health of the body and it is provided every month.
As a program mobiliser, I majorly worked in the sub-counties of Pingire and Kadungala.
My responsibilities included included:
Making clients to know when the food is to be delivered to them so that they don't miss out.
Holding the client's register so that I know the number of people to be delivered with food
Guidance and counseling of the clients on how to cope up with the disease
Promotion of sanitation where water sources are to be cleaned regularly.

Working with Serere District Local Government.
Handled, listened and solved domestic violence cases of women and children from the probation office.
Collected data from surrounding communities to be used for planning and implementing of project activities.

This post and job has enabled me to fully utilize all my social work skills. This is because I majorly deal with students in a school as my clients. The world we live in today, social workers are needed so as to make people realise and understand their own problems and challenges that they are going through.
I guide and counsel students who have the following problems in life:
Students who are being disturbed by adolescent
Who fail frequently from class
Who have problems with school fees
Who have HIV-AIDS disease
Who have disabilities.
Being a counselor in school, I also engage myself in proper follow up aspect of social work so as to find out how they are coping with with their problems.
The school as has registered happiness and success because many of the students come back thanking me for solving their problems making me to build strong rapport with them.
Being a social worker, this hasn't been an easy field because there have those students who come with touching problems which may make you feel sad before even you handle it.
Those problems and challenges which I have failed to handle, I have referred them to other social workers for further help and advice.
