PROJECT 1: Porting Real Time Clock on OMAP 4460

Resources Used: Linux Kernel 3.0, U-boot

RTC stands for real time clock with IC no (DS1307), it provides auto update of date and time even though power is off it uses CMOS battery for this purpose. It has 7 resisters each for its intended functionality. It uses I2C serial communication protocol for communicating with the master. I used both ATAGS and DTS for configuring the device and make it work properly.

PROJECT 2: Porting EEPROM on OMAP 4460

Resources Used: Linux Kernel 3.0, U-boot

EEPROM (Electrically Erasable Programmable Read Only Memory) is a memory device with an IC AT24C32A .It is a non-volatile memory with a size of 32 K bits, data can be read and write directly on any of the memory locations with the use of I2C bus. This project is implemented both by using ATAGS and DTS.

PROJECT 3: Accident Detection using RF Technology

This project “Accident Detection Using RF Technology” is completely based on the Radio frequency. There are n which this project has been divided: Transmitter section, center node section, and receiver section. Each section has a ZIGBEE Transceiver which works on 2.4 GHz operating frequency.

A switch is given at the transmitting section which is used to transmit the location using ZIGBEE Transceiver, Center node which is acting as a mediator route the message to the receiving section.

Academic Training

One month summer training on study of MMIC(Monolithic microwave integrated circuits) design and measurement from DRDO DELHI.A MMIC is a type of integrated circuit that operates at microwave frequencies(300Mhz to 300 GHZ).These devices perform functions such as microwave mixing,power amplification, and high frequency switching
