2.What do you know about the organization? You offer many benefits to your employees which shows you take interest and care for your employees.
3.Why are you interested in our organization? I believe in and am intrigued by organizations that care about the persons they hire.
4.Why do you want this position? I believe the company can help me learn and grow as well as I can help the company with my skills as an administrative office specialist.
5.What do you consider the ideal job for you? Any job where I am appreciated and can help the company function and succeed.
6.Why did you choose your major area of study? It was a career where I will continue to learn new things as well as the job duties and material I had to learn seemed to come naturally to me.
7.What was your academic average in school? In college my academic average was an A or B average.
8.What honor did you earn? The school I attend doesn’t have an honor program but it was an honor being about to learn skills to be employed by companies such as this.
9.In what extracurricular activities were you involved? I participated in my science fair every year growing up as well as winning the State Science Fair competition one year.
10.What course did you like best? Math because I was always learning new things. Least? I honestly didn’t really have a subject that was my least favorite.
11.How have the classes you completed as part of your major helped you prepare for your career? They have taught me many things from Microsoft training to interview skills and how to interact with customers, employers, and coworkers.
12.If you disagreed with something your supervisor asked you to do, what would you do? Well if it was something that made me uncomfortable I would speak to my supervisor immediately, if it was just something I didn’t feel like doing, I would do it anyways and to the best of my ability.
13.What type of atmosphere do you prefer? I adapt to my surrounding so I can be comfortable in any atmosphere.
14.Is a sense of humor important at work? To me I believe so, I feel as if you need to have a light mood sometimes and it’s hard to feel comfortable in a work environment where things are so serious all the time.
15.Tell me about a conflict you have had with someone in the work environment? There was a time when my I didn’t agree with how one of my coworkers handle a situation, I first tried to talk to the employee and when that didn’t seem to help I went to my boss with the situation. If was a situation where someone could’ve be harmed if it wasn’t stopped.
16.How do you handle pressure? I do well under pressure, I prefer to take the time to make sure my work is done to the best of my ability but I can work quickly and efficiently.
17.How would your previous employers or teacher and coworkers describe you? As someone who despite many obstacles overcame and excelled through. Someone who is driven and determined to succeed.
18.Have you ever been fired or ask to resign from a position? No I have not
19.Why did you leave your previous job? It was a temporary position, I was moving and turned in my two weeks’ notice and left on very good terms.
20.Have you had any problems with previous supervisors? No I have not.
21.What are your greatest strengths? I am very determined to succeed, I am great at multitasking and adapting to my surrounding, I am very organized, and I am a fast learner.
22.What do you not do well? Sometimes I can be little too hard on myself when I don’t complete things as fast as I should or when I don’t learn something right away.
23.Why should I hire you? I would be a huge asset to your company not only will I help your company function better with my skills and abilities but you would also help me continue to grow and learn new things. I am a dedicated hard worker who would fit right in with all your current employees because I adapt to surrounding so quickly.
