PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

The ability of the U.S. Market to optimally drive the revenue is limited by customer’s current capabilities. The “Flex” Initiative is focused on removing organizational constraints that are limiting Customer’s ability to evolve.

Involved with customer in building a new data mart called Alignment Master Plus (AM+) to store all Customer’s Sales field alignment data which will be derived from the 3rd party tool, Javelin to which all master data marts are integrated. Developed inbound ETL integration & Oracle PL/SQL to extract, load and transform data in AM+. Around 30 ETL jobs ranging from medium to complex developed to support. Also around 10 Oracle packages and stored procedure also developed.

In addition involved in developing integration to provide data extract from master data mart to external partner as part of outbound integration. Total 72 ETL integration with each integration consisting of medium to complex jobs developed to provide extract in range of 150 million records on daily basis to external vendor.

The purpose of the Flex Alignment is to load sales reps org hierarchy information and sales rep assignment details from AM plus instead of AODS. This AM plus load eventually replaces sub systems AODS, FSMS, SIMON, PRIDE. AM plus is a new repository for organizational data. These RDT structural changes have to be implemented in SOLAR, EPBU, PSI, Telerx and PALI systems. SAM HQ system is required to comply with various regulatory needs, to maintain a common and consistent source of data to support safety data maintenance and reporting business processes. The main purpose of this project is to maintain the sales rep org hierarchy and assignment historical and current data for various business needs. SAM HQ system using this data to generate reports for FDA, reports for site manages and reports for indication managers. SAM is using different sets of reporting tools to generate the reports from sales rep assignment data.

RESPONSIBILITES

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

The purpose of the Sample Operational Data Store project is to maintain the history of sample eligibility check for the customer who used to receive controlled substance products. It is being developed in oracle using agile methodology. SODS consume customer information form customer master, schedule number and product information form global product master. Customer address equivalency is verified with Telerx system. Integration of SAM with the contents of the SODS to validate transactions with controlled substances. Remediation of SAM to consume DEA Number / CDS license-compliant transactions from Veeva. Cancellation of any DTP orders that violate applicable DEA and state rules. Enhancing Physician Audit Letters functionality to handle controlled substances. The physician audit letter shows DEA Number and CDS License Number on image of the sample signature screen. Inclusion of the DEA Number and CDS License Number on the image when the sample receipt is printed upon request. Provide ability to record HCP-initiated returns in SAM against the HCP but not against a rep and send these transactions to PSI. Integration of a controlled substance sample offer service with MedManage. Creation of CDS history and DEA history. SAM will identify all reasons that a DEA address is controlled substance invalid. This is for compliance reporting purposes.

Merck & Co., Inc. Provides various health solutions through its prescription medicines, vaccines, biologic therapies, animal health, and consumer care products. The company's Pharmaceutical segment provides human health pharmaceutical products. The sample account management team is part of global human health solutions delivery group. SAM used to facilitate the management of all sample activity from a sample accountability perspective and also contains components used to facilitate the shipping of samples to the field sales force. Samples online used by HQ to allocate samples, by the field to order samples. Physician audit letters used to print the letters, BRC cards and images for the transactions that are identified as part of the sam disbursement audit process. Paragon imaging loads the scanned image files from the sc414 and sc340 forms into a SQL server database. Field Reporting Reports that are delivered to the field sales force. Headquarters reporting reports that are delivered to the Samples headquarters staff. Electronic sample exception tracking system used to log all exceptions in the insight mobile to SAM process.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

To create a paperless environment and make the images accessible on the system for various users simultaneously. To increase the efficiency of various business processes. The users will get dual monitors, where they can view Trinity application on one monitor and the document image (invoked from Trinity) on the other. All the existing files for old loans were shipped from Sioux Falls to the scan central in May 2005. This is referred to as back file conversion in the project. This involves 70,000 insurance packets with an average of 300 pages per loan packet totaling up to a 21 million pieces of paper. Any new policies that are closed after imaging project is implemented are referred to as new loans. A new loan packet will be shipped to scan central to image by the originations. A basic workflow is designed for the project wherein the users will be alerted on scanning of a particular document for an app or account. This is accomplished by defining rules of alert for different doc types. Example – When a document type of brokerage statement is scanned, the loan processor and the loan officer for that app will be alerted. The alerts will show up on the screen called ‘User Home Page’.
