An experienced Multi -disciplined NDT Inspector in Oil and Gas Industry and Maintenance related to Static equipments, Structures and Piping works. Possess the valuable combination of Construction as well as In-service Inspection experience of process equipments. Communicates well at all levels and has a wide range of practical skills. Summary of Experience
Last 10 years working in the field of Non-destructive testing for Oil and Gas sector, pipeline and waterpalant.
Carrying out radiographic testing of welds, castings by Gamma rays for kinds of materials as per company specification and relevant codes and Interpretation of radiographic films.
Carrying out ultrasonic corrosion survey during on-stream inspection and shutdown inspection for Pressure Vessels, columns, Heat exchangers piping, pipeline, and Tanks.
Ultrasonic flaw detection of welds of various configuration for newly construction and in-service Piping, Pipelines, pressure vessel and storage tanks.
Conducted RT inspection and survey of all pipe work and pipelines as requested including planning and preparation of all works.
Visual Inspection of pressure vessels, process piping and supports.
Inspection during constriction, maintenance & in-service.
Preparing & developing for NDT reports, reviewing NDT reports / data, supervising NDT activities, communicating NDT instructions, maintaining the records / documents and Interpretation of specification standards.
Record and maintain data of all inspection carried out and compile records as requested by NDT specialist.
Carrying out ultrasonic flaw detection of welds of various configurations for newly construction and in-service Piping, Pipelines, pressure vessel and storage tanks.
Carrying out Magnetic particle testing of products, welds and cast bodies with Electromagnetic yoke, permanent magnets, prods, coil, both visible and fluorescent techniques.
Carrying out liquid penetrant testing of products, welds and cast bodies with Water washable & solvent removable penetrant, both visible and fluorescent techniques.
Ultrasonic spot thickness examination and Lamination checking of piping, plates, structural for pressure vessel, storage tanks, boiler tubes, heater tubes etc.,
Visual Inspection of Butt welds and Fillet welds.
Carrying out liquid penetrant testing on welds of non ferrous castings and rolled aluminum sections.
Carrying out Corrosion survey for Oilfield facilities by UT & VT.
Knowledge of engineering drawing, Isometric drawings and P&ID.
Carry out shutdown inspection of UT corrosion survey, thickness measurement, penetrant testing and magnetic particle testing on pressure vessels, storage tanks, column and piping and pipelines.
Activities
Carrying out Ultrasonic flaw detection on welding and casting. Lamination check on steel plates, Thickness gauging of boiler steam pipe etc.
Carried out UT Corrosion survey of in-service piping, Vessels, Columns & Heat exchangers.
Carried out UT weld examination of in-service piping, Vessels, Columns & Heat exchangers.
Carrying out RT, MT & PT of various equipment, structures and piping.
Carried out Profile Radiography of small bore fittings and process piping.
Magnetic particle inspection of both wet and dry methods including florescent method for various jobs.
Perform solvent removable Dye pen. Test on SS welds.
Perform UT on areas inaccessible for Radiography.
Carrying out inspection of tanks (visual, Ultrasonic & magnetic particle testing of tank components like shell, bottom plates, annular plates, roof plates on fixed and floating roofs, nozzles & piping)
Carry out UT, MT, PT and RT during shutdown for Reliance Refinery, Jam nager, Gujarat, MRL Chennai and CPCL, Chennai India.
