ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Review& implementation of Method Statements, Inspection and Test Plans.

Review & implementation of Welding Procedure (WPS) as per requirement.

Material receiving inspection and verification with reference to test certificates as per the client required specification and ASME SEC II.

TROUBLE SHOOT Handled:-

Misalignment of outer diameter of pipe to pipe and fitting to pipe joints observed, solved in accordance with ASME B31.3 by providing proper instruction to the production team.

After welding the SS material joints a visual corrosion layer was seen on HAZ area after proper surveillance it absorbed that welders were using power SS brushes for cleaning HAZ area of the joint which was affecting the chromium layer on the surface resulting in formation of corrosion layer, issue was solved consulting the appropriate personnel’s.
