The 6 streams consist of Infrastructure review that resulted in an end to end understanding of the infrastructure the portal interacts with and identifying gaps in monitoring and other configurations. Governance stream to put in place the operating model, business and IT, development/release standards and policies. Architecture work reviewed the current physical, logical, and development areas to identify migration path, Lowes customizations that can be removed, and upgrade options. Development Optimization work that will redevelop certain portlets and framework code to be more efficient and use standard coding practices, resulting in better login time for users. Monitoring & Diagnostics is to setup tactical monitoring for portal components and also implement an enterprise end to end monitoring and diagnostic capabilities.
