Turnover reduced by almost 20 percent in 2 years realizing substantial savings.

Managing all aspects of Unemployment Compensation matters and reducing financial impact by 50 percent by winning over 90 percent of hearings.

Substantial budgetary savings realized exceeding all budget savings targets.

Designing programs to reduce and mitigate the number and severity of on the job injuries realizing additional budgetary savings for Workers’ Compensation program. Duties included:

Duties: Assisted outside counsel with pre-trial and trial activities, drafted legislation and ordinances, lobbied the Wisconsin Legislature, and worked with administrative agencies including DWD, Commerce, DNR, DOR, DOT and DATCP. Researched and drafted briefs and opinion letters, drafted contracts and leases, produced legal guides and model notices, membership education and seminar presentation on HR and legal issues, and published a monthly column in the industry newsletter.
