1. Visa, Inc.

Director – Sr. Project / Program Manager, June 2012 – January 2017

Manage medium to large and complex portfolio of North America Infinite credit card launches, Visa Affluent (Ultra High and High Net Worth) Program and Travel and Lifestyle asset roll-out, Concierge, and Commercial Card Programs for the North American Credit Product Team. Managed the day to day operation and processes including the staff within the PMO

Responsible for managing multiple highly visible and complex Infinite card programs from initiation to launch. Project team consisted of up to 40 team members throughout the organization and is the 1st major new card release in the last 15 years.

Orchestrated and led the highly successful Chase Sapphire Reserve card from initiation to deployment. The card deployment was a major success with the targeted volume greater than 10 times the initial forecast

oNormal release time to launch a new issuer requires 9 months, the team collaborated on finding a solution to launch in 7 months

Worked closely with Chase on resolving any issues and brought up risks for both teams to mitigate

Participated as a go to mentor for any questions for the enterprise wide program.

Led meetings to determine requirements, design, strategy, risk, and issue management.

Created integrated project plan and negotiate with cross functional team managers and members to ensure resources are available for partnership and client engagement

Worked closely with Business Sponsors, Business and IT stakeholders, and business leaders to help plan and drive the best roll-out strategies on various lines of product and services for North America and Global requirements.

Fostered a collaborative environment to work together by planning, reviewing budget, and ensuring all teams are on the same page to deploy on time and on budget while influencing on resolving any roadblocks ahead

Worked closely with issuers and hold weekly meetings or ad hoc meetings to provide status updates or issues that requires both parties to resolve.

2. Visa – Contract through Populus Group

Manage the portfolio of all the Global Concierge, U.S. Signature / Canada Projects and initiatives ranging from events planning to deploying of Visa Signature and Infinite website globally. Visa Signature and Infinite cards and Concierge services are targeted towards affluent card users which involves business strategies for the niche market

Managed program that consists of medium to large projects that consists of budget $60+ million

Successfully migrated and decentralized new and old call centers across the globe for call center service efficiencies along with cost efficiencies

Coordinate projects, managing detailed project plans with input from a cross-functional team to accomplish goals and direct the integration of technology development and other activities.

Work closely with Visa leaders globally to ensure Visa technology and Concierge processes are aligned for marketing efficiencies as well as gaining shares to the affluent market

3. Kaiser Permanente – Contract through Ascent Services Group

Sr. IT Project Manager, April 2010 – December 2011

Planned and Managed $31+ million OneLink Legacy Remediation projects while working closely with the various Technical and Business partners. OneLink Legacy Remediation is an Enterprise Mega Program that is an executable plan to retire, replace, or find the optimal solution for the organization that affects all business tracks. OneLink will be replaced and integrated by PeopleSoft 8.9 Finance and Supply Chain Oracle platform. (Finance, Accounting, HR, Materials and Purchase, and Clinical)

Managed a portfolio of 130+ legacy applications for Northern California that included 700+ on-shore and off-shore resources

Successfully deployed legacy solutions for Southern California and Northern California

Managed tight timelines and led 8 Sr. Project Managers on resource allocations while tracking their deliverables

Worked closely with Technical Leads, Business Leads, and Track Leads to finalize the Project Plan and Requirements in order to obtain buy-in and budget approvals from the Business and Finance Leaders

Established, communicated, and managed project management processes and tools that aligned with existing Wells Fargo Enterprise Project Management (EPM) policies and procedures. Built and maintained solid relationship with the Business Scoreboard – BI (Web based reporting tools for the managers) and Prospect Analytics (Commercial Strategies analysis engine) Application Team on integration and non-integration projects.

Supervised directly a team of internal developers for ScoreBoard as well as 20 off-shore and 6 on-shore vendor developers for the Prospect Analytics project

Planned and managed medium to large complex technology projects that affected Credit Card Services and Retail operations as a member of the PMO (Program Management Office). These tasks included negotiating and working closely with the stakeholders, off-shore and on-shore vendors as well as cross functional team members.
