Project development. My career experiences listed below involved developing and raising private capital for a multitude of development projects from the private investment sectors. Experience in both the private and public sectors gives me an advantage in approaching financing from a multitude of different sectors to achieve success.
Acquisitions, Entitllements, Contracts, Leases. As VP of Asset Management for Far West Capital Corp. it was my responsibility to acquire the easements, municipal franchise, service agreements for the Reno Energy LLC project. I was successful in obtaining letters of intent for over 30 million sq. ft. of service agreements for 90% of the Reno commercial, industrial, hospitals and the University of Nevada Reno and casinos within 6 months. As VP of Acquisitions and Entitlements for Silver Wing Development Corp. I acquired 6 properties with over 300 units at a price that has been able to keep Silver Wing Development profitable throughout the collapse of the economy.
Executive Director of the American Red Cross State of Nevada. Responsible for operations and fund raising and grant solicitation. Administration of operations and training for 350 volunteers in emergency response and disaster relief. Budget administration and financing of our budget involved 30% trust funds, 30% corporate, 20% private, 10% events, 10% grants.
Washoe County Commissioner. Served 8 years and was responsible for the policies and departmental over site of a variety of county boards and divisions. Lobbied in Nevada State Legislature and Washington D.C. regarding state and federal regulations and capital funding. As Commissioner, I gave expert testimony before the U.S Senate and House of Representative committee’s regarding mining law and water.
Statewide referendum. As President of Nevada Association of Counties “Unfunded Mandate Referendum “a statewide campaign passed by 87% of the vote. Referendum passed by the highest margin in the history of the state of Nevada.
I graduated with honors from “Rapport Institute for Leadership and Communication”. The Rapport Institute greatly improved my internal leadership skills, communication and people skills to the point of being requested as a motivational speaker for the public and private sectors.

The development of a bio-mass operation for the processing of bio-diesel and feedstock oil.
President\CEO Iron Horse International. Directional drilling company 2000 – 2001. Owner\Manager was successful in fiber optic contracts for cable installation until 9/11/01.
EXECUTVE DIRECTOR- AMERICAN RED CROSS NORTHERN NEVADA – 2003
Administrator\Director- Fund raising, managing and training of over 350 emergency response volunteers and implementation of Homeland Security policies, Emergency
Response, Medical Rescue Training and logistics.
V.P. Acquisitions and Entitlements Silverwing Development Corp. 2002-2005
Land Acquisition and development of entitlements for a California based land development company. Completed all land acquisitions and entitlements for said acquisitions. I structured all purchase agreements and contract administration which included the acquisition of a geothermal property which I negotiated a donation of the resource to the City of Reno resulting in a $17 million dollar tax credit for Silverwing Development.
General Manager of Reno Energy geothermal heating district 1995 thru 1999.
Responsible for the creation and development of Reno Energy, LLC, a district heating company which encompassed the downtown Reno core area and the University of Nevada campus. I negotiated service contracts with all the major Casinos and Hospitals. Responsible for structure of right-of-way agreements along public streets within the cities of Reno, Sparks and Washoe County. I left Reno Energy, LLC to start my own business.
V.P. Asset Management for Far West Capital (1993- thru 1995) of all Nevada geothermal holdings, operations and business ventures and project develop.
Responsible for new project development in renewable energy and resource expansion for existing facilities and new resources within Nevada and California. I was the person in the field negotiating geothermal leases, contracts and royalty structures. I was promoted to General Manager of Reno Energy, LLC.
VICE PRESIDENT OF STEAMBOAT DEVELOPMENT CORP. 1992 THRU 1995
Vice Pres. of Administration, Steamboat Development Corp. 1992 thru January of 1994. Responsible for overseeing environmental and regulatory compliance for existing 60 Mega Watt geothermal plants and permitting for new project development.
Promoted to Vice Pres. of Asset Management, Far West Capital, Inc., Parent company January 1995.
Responsible for Compliance permitting and new project development of all Far West Capital holdings in the State of Nevada.
Promoted to General Manager of Reno Energy Project in 1996. Responsible for over site of new project development from concept through financing, permitting, public relations, marketing, and construction.
WASHOE COUNTY COMMISSIONER 1987-1995
Washoe County, Nevada population of approximately 450,000 and combined annual budget of $750 million.
Administered county budget and set policy for Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District, Sierra Forest Fire Protection District, Lawton/Verdi General Improvement District, South Truckee Meadows General Improvement District, Job Opportunities of Nevada, Regional Governing Board, Regional Transportation Commission, Regional Water Board & Washoe Council of Governments.
Set policy and lobbied before federal and state officials for Nev. Assoc. of Counties.
Investment of revenues as a member of Washoe County Investment Committee.
Decided and administered county bond issues as a member of the General Obligation Bond Committee.
Administration of Youth Training Center for the Sierra Nevada Job Corps.
Establish policies and regulations regarding water service for the unincorporated areas of Washoe County as member of Water Planning and Advisory Board.
Created policy and guidelines of service for all cable television, waste disposal, and telecommunication franchises for the unincorporated areas of Washoe County.
Established policy and administration of operations, and rates for Citifare and Citilift transportation systems as a member of Regional Transportation Commission.
Served as Washoe County Commission Vice Chairman in 1989 -1992 and Chairman 1989 and 1993.
President Nevada Association of Counties in 1993 served from 1987-1995, President Washoe Council of Governments between 1988 and 1995.
