Developed pseudo codes for complex rental amount calculation modules and passed it another team in order to create a service in Off-mainframe environment to avoid mainframe hits during shop transaction.

Successfully completed onsite transition of the EMEA Mainframe Batch stream and passed the knowledge to the offshore team.

Identified the pain areas in the Batch stream and created an organized plan to address them.

Wizard Modernization

Performed System Integration Test on Assembler to C converted code as a part of Language Translation program.

Wizard One Source

Responsibilities:

Developed a single code base template using COBOL/DB2/IMS between Avis and Budget brands and made the code base available for third brand.

Developed a REXX tool as a pre-compiler to generate Avis and/or Budget load from the template source.

Created guideline document and approach document for to identify the impacted elements and make the necessary changes on them.

Created Rexx tools in order to generate the Architecture Definition and other Control definition for creating the modules in bulk as almost all inventory was a part of this change.

Created REXX and VB scripts as automated tools in order to perform analysis and create Testing Suite.

Created Functional Testing Plan in order to help the European end-users to use the new brand.

Identified and addressed the operational issues.

Payless Integration for Point of Sale Application

Responsibilities:

Performed analysis of this JAVA Servlet based application to redesign and restructure in a single source code base across all brands.

As a part of new brand integration, this application was brought under version control architecture and streamlined as war file deployment process. This would assist future enhancement and modification to this application.

Developed new COBOL DB2 stored procedures on mainframe which would be called from this application to support the new brand.
