Responsibilities:
Developed a single code base template using COBOL/DB2/IMS between Avis and Budget brands and made the code base available for third brand.
Developed a REXX tool as a pre-compiler to generate Avis and/or Budget load from the template source.
Created guideline document and approach document for to identify the impacted elements and make the necessary changes on them.
Created Rexx tools in order to generate the Architecture Definition and other Control definition for creating the modules in bulk as almost all inventory was a part of this change.
Created REXX and VB scripts as automated tools in order to perform analysis and create Testing Suite.
Created Functional Testing Plan in order to help the European end-users to use the new brand.
